2023 HD Crowdsourced Order Tracking & Waiting Room

@Husker1972 FWIW I just saw this on a dually facebook page. it's a day old
"After seven months of having a GMC on order, and then being notified that the factory somehow lost it in the staging yard for shipping, I bought the Ram. I got really lucky that a dealer had a limited night edition ready to go. I’ve never had a Ram before, but so far I am extremely satisfied with it. They say things happen for a reason and I hope that is the case here."

I had a 5500 on order since early March. The order number they supplied never once worked in their tracking system. Supposedly it was built 6 weeks ago. Dealer knows nothing. Given the reports I’ve read here of much earlier builds still not shipped, I started looking around. I bought a low miles 2021 (didn’t want a late 2022 build with their issues) 4500 yesterday that will fit my needs. I know many have waited much longer and more patiently than I but the lower price for a Laramie vs the tradesman I had on order with a truck in hand did it for me. I get it that there are supply chain and shipping issues but the lack of effort in updating their customers made me happy to buy something used.

It would be funny if there was a cycle where abandoned Ram orders are getting bought off the lot by people that abandoned GMC orders and vice versa with people that have abandoned RAM orders picking up abandoned GMC orders off the lot. I just hope now that my truck is off the last train, it don't sit misplaced in the lot for two or three months before a truck shuttles it to the dealer. Or worse another hail storm catches it.

I'm right next to you, made the train ride and now stuck waiting for a truck to get me to the dealership

$2k, Wisconsin to here, just short of 2,000 miles. I'm told it'll be here by Wednesday, but I am thinking Tuesday's a definite possibility depending on what other stops he may have to make. When I had my 2018 I sold shipped down to Phoenix he was there in 3 days.

A dollar a mile is a great shipping price, most guys are $2-$3 per mile.

Check with MD. If memory serves me right (which at my age I can't remember what I had for breakfast), last year they were charging around a dollar a mile. They have a few companies they use and get great deals.

Well, after being built and sitting in Mexico since 2/8 (4 months and 19 days), the tracker delivery date changed from TBD to 7/19. It has not shipped, but it was so shocking to see something different of the tracker I had to catch my breath! But, we'll see....I'll believe it when I see it!

We're all hoping for the best!!

That is absolutely a shocker! Maybe there's hope for me too.

I was floored...back when it was built in February, the deliver date was 3/21, until I got up the morning of 3/22 and it changed to TBD, where it has sat since. I am hopeful...lol...but not holding my breath!!!

For those that are still watching this thread and have taken delivery of a 2023, did your truck come with one or two key Fobs? And FYSA-My dealer ordered my exact build not even 3 months after my first because of hail damage hold. The base price went up from 28 Feb to 1 May $900 and Destination increased $100! 1st build-PG597893, 2nd PG648821.

I ordered my 3500 on April 15th and already had the increased pricing.

Agreed, but these guys are hauling 2-3 cars at once. And mine showed up 2 days early - it only took him just over 2 days to haul it 1,800 some miles.

I know, technically it doesn't belong here since it's a 2022 but I tried. It is beautiful though, and it has all the camera options that were unavailable on the 2023 chassis cabs.

Time to get it in the shop, clean the bugs off and start the build. I'll probably start a build thread in the appropriate forum once I get into it.

Good luck to all of those still waiting on their 2023's.
