2023 HD Crowdsourced Order Tracking & Waiting Room

Spoke to a sales person in Brenham/TX. Their dealer orders are also delayed. He attributed the problems to: recalls, transportation shortages, the hail storm and the border. He said that they are now welding train doors shut to prevent stowaways. Based on supply & demand, they're not that interested in discounting off MSRP. It's an interesting balance: my deal is currently better than the market, but it's not in my possession...2024 is around the corner...and it sounds like there may be a surge of discounted 2023s in the future.

Same exact thing happened to me today that it was built 6/10 then I got a text from that it was shipped. From reading so many posts on here I am hesitant to get excited about when it will actually arrive at my dealership.

I agree seems weird some peoples truck come quick and easy! Others wait months… so time will tell.

Mine shipped on 5/12 and has been sitting at a rail yard since 5/20 waiting for a truck to take it to my dealer. The estimated delivery date is TBD and has been since April. The dealer sees no date for a transport truck either. So now it just sits somewhere for weeks and weeks instead of being delivered. This whole process is a **** show, at best.

@brv10 said that mine went to the rail yard 5/20, even though it was retro recorded as shipped on 3/25. At this stage, I make up math about delivery. One person was recorded as shipped on 5/7 and he received it on 6/9. Thirty-three days on 5/20 would be 6/22..right? Silly game I play in my head to create hope.

Dealer contacted me today and said that all "holds" on my truck were finally cleared, so I'm back in line for the train. No idea though whether I'm at the front or back of the line though!

Potential hail damage. Mine was released from "informal hold hail damage" and marked ready to ship on 4/17. But due to conflicting information from different sources, lack of accountability, and disorganisation within Stellantis, I am convinced they have lost its true location and have no idea where it is. And there is no consumer advocate position within Stellantis and no such entity outside Stellantis to ask for help, so I suspect my truck and some others will remain lost for a very long time. I hope I am wrong on all points, but that is what I believe at this point.

I wish my dealer researched my status and kept me informed. I depend on @brv10 for a glimpse of my status.

I found one in stock at a dealer a few hours away that is very close to my build. I am giving up on my order and buying the other one before someone else beats me to it.

This has been one of the most frustrating processes I have experienced. Very sad.

Yea, I was looking around too, but did not find one close enough to my order. If I am told mine is still in Mexico and can't get any good response as to why, then when the 2024 order process starts, I may give up the order and start over with a 2024. Mine has cash set aside to pay for it in full, so I could just reinvest the money again while I wait on the new order. It is looking like there are not any significant changes, so most of the accessories I pre bought for the 23 should also fit the 24 model.

When will 2024 orders open up? Based on the backlog people talk about, I think they might delay to clear out more 2023s before they have to deeply discount them
 
I don’t know if it helps give a lil hope or not but my 1st order had the informal hail damage hold on it too and once it was released it showed up at dealer within few weeks , may not been that long and now I’m back in line waiting on #2 and it’s moved to d1 and hoping it’s in production shortly and makes it’s way through as fast or better than # 1 did , have a new beautiful woman I’m trying to take to beach in new beautiful truck if it hurry’s up n gets here!

Did your TBD change to a date and or did your truck get marked KZM first? Or did it just show up at the dealer?

It was ordered on 1/27 and once it hit d1 it had a est delivery of may10 but once it went kz it changed to the famous “tbd” but it went kzm pretty quick, April 11 I believe then we know what happened shortly after, informal hold hail damage, stayed that way until about a week after I re ordered then it got shipped to dealer I had Anthony send me pics of it cause I had to see it and yeah it looked good , I think it was pretty close to yours on spread sheet and hopefully they quit messing around I can’t understand the shipping show they are running , should be like anything else with the least bit of structure should be first in first out but it seems more like a good ol 1st grade duck duck goose!

My order was 1/20; built 2/8; estimated delivery 4/11. After 4/11 passed, it went to 6/19. Shipped on 5/20. Estimated delivery just changed again to 7/3. Ridiculous. It will lose one year of value before it’s even delivered.
