2023 HD Crowdsourced Order Tracking & Waiting Room

Here is my routing. After "railcar departure/yard exit" the next entry was "railcar unloaded". I didn't attempt to get a railcar number since frankly I thought it was still at the Saltillo plant since tracker showed "KZ" (which still does). Your current location of Monterrey, NL is someplace northeast of Saltillo. So it looks like it left the Saltillo plant..

It’s encouraging your next stop was in the US. I hope that’s the next stop for mine.

Have you picked up your truck yet?

No. It's still at the Belvidere Plant in IL as of a few days. Been there since April 18. My dealer sent me an email today telling me my truck was in transit, and they attached below which shows it is KZLD (delayed). So not sure why they sent the email unless they has access to some other monitoring system that gives more detail.

It seems odd that it made it to Belvidere and then is KZLD.

Great news! Koon's just emailed me that my truck has arrived. Can't wait to go get it. Their email states minimum of 48 hours from arrival until available for pickup.

With my son graduating next Monday, and having some end of school year events this Friday...looks like I will have to wait until Tues/Weds next week to fly out and drive it home.

Ordered 2/1
Built 3/10
Arrived 5/16

Order tracker showed 5/17 estimated delivery. Then it changed to 5/27, and today its back to showing 5/17 - pretty accurate.

What date did yours ship?

Picked up our new 2023 Rebel 2500 from Gupton's yesterday. It was the best new vehicle purchase experience I've ever had. Renee was excellent to work with. Most dealers I have dealt with know less about the vehicle they are selling than I do. This was not the case with Renee. She is a Jeep and RAM owner and she knows the vehicles. Order placed on Jan-26, shipped on 3-30, arrived at Gupton's on 5-4-23.

Going to Koons? Mine was unloaded at Belvedere around 4/21 as well and been sitting there since. It is parked for a company called Precision Vehicle Group LLC. brv10 thinks it could be possible hail damage inspection or repair. Unfortunately, it is a gray area for dealers or even brv10. Mine was ordered Oct. last year and still has the diesel relay recall non-fixed. Good luck brother!

My dealer was told by the regional rep that the truck I ordered 9/13 would probably ship at the end of May. My new RV shipped in less than a month and I will pay to have someone tow it to storage. I am unwinding my 33 day trip to the Utah National Parks.

He was meeting with Chrysler and here were the comments I wanted passed along:
1) I understand acts of God and delays, but to this day I do not know exactly why it has taken so long. Greater transparency by Chrysler would expose flaws in their process or give me more peace.
2) A whole lot of folk who already own trucks are stuck waiting for recall parts. Again, greater transparency around why.
3) By the time my truck arrives, it will be about a 10 month process. Just around that corner is the ordering process for 2024s. Some dealers are getting a break on showroom financing on their delayed KZs. I would like a Chrysler incentive on the cost and a break on financing. By the time I own it, I'll have just a few months until 2024s are rolling around. I'd like a break for depreciation and the long wait.

What a bummer all around. I really can’t understand why a car manufacturer would be so obtuse in dealing with a customer. It should be a priority to keep the customers happy, but it obviously isn’t. I just hit 2 months in ZK status, but that’s a drop in the bucket to your situation. I hope they try to make it right for you with some sort of cost/finance break. BTW, we did the Utah parks back in 2019 (with a travel trailer) - absolutely fabulous. When you finally get the opportunity you’ll be in sensory overload with the natural beauty.

Yes, I am going to Koons. How did you find out that it is parked at Precision Vehicle Group? I found this for "Precision Vehicle Holding": http://precisionvehicleholding.com. Looks like a logistics company that manages movement and storage of finished vehicles. It also says that they do "inspection" and "quality campaign support". The "quality campaign support" has me worried. Hopefully they are just back up.

And what will the 24's bring, soon? We are not alone

Word from my dealer is my truck is sitting in a railcar, waiting for a ride north. If I am to believe that, then it's made it out of the post-hail QA at the plant which was the last status on 5/4..

I am taking it with a huge grain of salt though.

My last status update was also 5/4 at like 6 PM. But I’m still showing at the outside vendor and the man confirms I’m still JB. But the dealer is insisting that I’m in transit but delayed with no ETA. It makes no sense. Built 3/27 and sitting ever since JB…

Wow after reading all these i dont feel alone anymore.lol. Mine was built 3-31 and still cant get any info from dealer or ram.Contemplating just finding something on the lot and calling it a day. I agree tho. Transparency is key. I know there are thousands of vehicles but how can u not locate $80k+ vehicle. I am starting to see why there are abandoned orders on some of these lots.

It's okay to have some reservations to shield from disappointment, but it's on its way!
