That's just for the top, there are hard anchors for the seat base that are primary.<br />

The "strap" is no different than a seatbelt or the strap that's on the car seat. You're also supposed to go through that strap to an adjacent strap for hookup. Examples are in the OM.<br />

I see a lot of posts complaining someone can't get the top strap tight enough and it's because they're doing it wrong.<br />

The system is LATCH-compatible and crash certified.<br />

My 2022 megacab as well as my 2013 (I think) has the anchor point on the back wall, unless I'm doing that wrong too.</div>
