2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Well dealer kept saying yesterday their trying there best to make origional numbers work and wont give me another answer other than “ itll be close “ so i could be totally wrong but pretty sure there trying to stall until new truck arrives…. Give me the “close number” which garunteed will be 10-30$ more per month, and once you get that new truck smell in your nose youll agree to just about anything. So i sent my salesmen a msg this morning saying if you cant agree in writing to a number in this 10$ +\- range bi weekly well likely walk.

Seems extreme but i literally had this deal on official paper and was given no warning 6 months ago that the deal could change. They gave me a “today” and “future” value of my trade in.

Again i understand there job must be difficult holding values on trucks, but i feel as a consumer its not our problem! Either figure out a trade in value you can stand by, or take it up with ram when their 6+ month delivery time.

Thats the point i made yesterday to dealer, what was the point of even doing numbers and getting approved for financing 5 months ago if the deal has now changed. Maybe theyll step up and getter done who knows.
Why would you work out a deal and get approved for financing months before you get a vehicle? Things change. You should’ve worked a sale price you both agreed on and put down a deposit. Nothing more.

***UPDATE***
Soem gave me grief for harrassing RAM customer service and then the North American Production head, Mike McDonald. I am happy to say that Mike sent me this today and my dealer confirmed the shipment.
"
Good Morning Mr. XXXXXXX,

My logistics team down at the assembly plant were able to get your RAM 3500 loaded on to a railcar yesterday and shipped out. I’m showing the current ETA to the dealer between 10/16 and 10/28. It may arrive sooner but I will continue to track it daily and will let you know once I show that it has arrived at your dealership. Please let me know if you have any questions/concerns at any time. Once again, I’m sorry for the delays in getting it built and shipped out.

We VALUE you as a customer and THANK YOU for your LOYAL support of Stellantis and the RAM brand."
Congratulations! I have emailed him but have yet to get a reply

They had acessed a “future value” on my trade in according to build timeline of new truck. That was on them to hit the right number. Guess things changed to much in the market. No different than me quoting a job incorrectly. I have to eat the loss if i dont quote it right its not upto my customer to take up that slack

I have read recent posts regarding long delayed trucks. I thought I would post mine so those of you who ordered much later and received your trucks can be thankful and those who have been KZLD forever know you are not alone.
Ordered confirmed 2-26
Built 6-14
KZLD for 3+ months now. No explanation. I was assigned a case number 2 months ago with no response. What a joke! Trade in has depreciated more and interest rates have shot up.

106 days after it was built, my truck finally went KZM! Many thanks to those on here that had awesome info and those that put up with my venting. I'm not sure which will be harder, the 2-ish weeks of transit time or the waiting for it to ship haha

VIN?

Good Afternoon. FNG here. Been following along for several weeks and decided to join in on the fun. 3500 DRW ordered 8/5. VIN# 3C63RRGL1NG402420. No movement yet. I have a great salesman so that seems to put me ahead of the game from some of the members. I'm not in a hurry, just hoping to have before next RV season. Only 4 more short trips on schedule this year.

Like gindyhood, I'm a FNG and joined today after reading and trying to find timelines and expectations for my truck. VIN: 3C63RRJL9NG403792. I read earlier the 2023s start rolling off the line in NOV. Based on what I'm reading for other trucks' dates, am I going to get a '22?

Built the day before mine. Between the DRW, higher trim, and some additional options; might explain the extra month between our order dates and getting built a day apart. As I'm sure you've read here, the DRW are seemingly much slower at every stage of the process than SRW
