Looks awesome.
I messed around and flipped my mirrors to moose mode for a road trip and now I’m not happy with them down ever and I want to drive around moosed up all the time. Luckily I don’t daily drive that truck.

I go back and fourth between which look I like better… but I see better on the passenger side in moose mode. I can not for the life of me get the passenger main mirror adjusted to my liking… it feels too “zoomed” in. I just end up using the tow portion and ignoring the main glass. Driver mirror is perfect but something about passenger feels wrong.
Lol! Exactly, the main mirror on the passenger side seems like objects are much further than they appear. Its so odd. I feel like its installed wrong. Oh well, I’ll just use the smaller outer mirrorSame! I feel like they forgot to use the "objects may be closer than they appear" mirror on the passenger side.
Maiden voyage in the new truck. A trip out to Arizona to see if I could get some storm pictures and then a little roaming around in Colorado to do a little exploring there.
Going up Ophir Pass :
Still 100% stock (as she came from the dealer, at least). Still had her dealer plates on.![]()
They can certainly be adjusted properly when folded down. But, it takes quite a bit of adjustment to get them right from flipped to folded and the bottom glass is manual adjust so that’s a lot of work and I’m lazy.I used the moose ears when towing a trailer. Otherwise I keep them down. Guess I did better at setting up my mirrors as I have no issues. Big mirror I have set so can see the blind spot. Small tow mirror is set so I can just see the rear tire. Took a bit to get used to. But since I daily drive mine, it didn't take too long and I'm used to it and comfortable.
YEP! I saw pics of your truck a page or two back and thought "that truck looks REEEEALLY familiar! I wonder if that's the same guy??" LOLDarkanion, was that you I met on Ophir Pass? I had the Delmonico Red PW on 37s and was with a black Rubicon on 37s..
I tried moose mode yesterday and I found that to be MUCH more useable! Yeah, they feel like they stick out a little too far, but if I can see better, I don't care how it looks!Lol! My lower one is adjustable from in the cab buttons. They can certainly be adjusted properly when folded down. But, it takes quite a bit of adjustment to get them right from flipped to folded and the bottom glass is manual adjust so that’s a lot of work and I’m lazy.
Must be nice lolMy lower one is adjustable from in the cab buttons.
Also I beleive you can set them when in moose mode and they will auto change as the mirrors are flipped. Or you can program memory 2 for moose mode.![]()
You dont need to use memory two for moose mode vs down. Set them how you like when down, then move them to moose setting and adjust accordingly and set memory 1 to that as well. The truck will save each mirror setting individually on memory one. Works great because my fiance uses memory 2.My lower one is adjustable from in the cab buttons.
