2023 HD 2500 Order Guides with Pricing

The order guides posted indicate the Longhorn Limited & Limited come standard with painted front & rear bumpers (MBA & MBC). Or am I misreading that?

Also what is the best way to get with you @zach@granger to discuss ordering a truck?
Lets verify once the order banks open up.

Looks like the “level 1” power wagon is nearly what “level 2” used to be, and “level 2” is nearly what “level 3” used to be. “Base” Power Wagon got some of the features that used to be included in old “Level 1” (heated seats). Also appears the vertical bar/jail bar grille is now standard on all PW

Also they appear to have added “tread film appliqués” option…whatever that is…guessing some tread-pattern decal

The tradesman power wagon package seems closer to the old “base” power wagon too: led foglights instead of halogen, black powdercoat bumpers instead of chrome, and standard f/r park sensors.

It also looks like all power wagons(incl tradesman) get the all-black wheels (WFW), which used to be an “upgrade” over the black wheels with machined edges (WFZ, and No longer available at all it seems)

The changes to the tradesman Power Wagon are a positive IMO. I never liked the chrome bumpers on that truck. I also think the changes to the standard PW are fine too. Almost no one ordered one without at least level 1 and the all black wheels look better IMO. I also like that the bucket seats/center console are option with cloth seats now too. I just wish they would offer it with a 10k GVWR option.

I am thinking that the "REAR SEAT REMINDER ALERT (JFB)" is new on 2023. I don't think my '22 Limited Mega has this....or I have not accidentally activated it.

@zach@granger based on the other thread and the orders potentially opening on Monday, are these order guides still a valid starting point for placing an order?

I was concerned about this too. Mark dodge was willing to put a clause in on my statement of deposit that I was not obligated to take the truck and would receive my deposit back if any options were not present. Still would have sucked but I was fully prepared to back out if anything significant was missing. As others have said, I haven't heard of anything missing from anyone's build as long as the order was accepted. I guess mine is only coming with one foam door cup holder and I was a little salty about that for a minute

My 22 only had a foam insert in the drivers door. Level A on the website states "Door Trim Panel Foam Bottle Insert", and the equipment lists also states insert. I have read "inserts" in a few places but I'm guessing one is intentional. I snagged the one out of my 2018 and the wife is happy.

My truck is missing the auto dimming headlights that are supposed to be part of Laramie Level A. I have an appt on Friday to have it verified, again, and escalated to Ram to see if they will add it. My dads truck was built 2.5 weeks later and it was included on his Laramie Level A.

I don't like the 12" radio being included in the Laramie level 1 package. I know you keep climate control buttons but I don't like losing the heated and ventilated seat buttons. The whole reason I would get level 1 is for the ventilated seats and I'd rather them be easier to use and have the 8.4. I use the ventilated seats daily in my current truck all summer long.

I also don't like the 12" radio and am happy the '22 has heated/vented seat buttons. My 2018 didn't have them due to the aux switches and it's nicer having them.

On the RAM website for the 2022 build configurator, there is no Level 1 Equipment Group option available. I thought this option was entirely new for 2023, but if your 2022 has it and it's no longer listed on RAM's website today, does this mean that it's no longer available for 2022 orders due to the chip shortage?

Laramie Level 1 hasn't been offered for a while on the '22's. Level A is the same as Level 1 minus the Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Path Detection. You could ordered it separate thou.

Still better than Laramie Level C which is the same as Level A minus power folding mirrors.

Looks like there was a revision on the 24th. Could possibly be another one before ordering opens, but I'm not sure.
At least on the models that I am looking at the only difference is an increase in the base price of about $600. That's considerable though since the revision is only 16 days newer than the original and ordering never opened up.

That is all I noticed for the Big Horn models. Everything else stayed the same.

All-Just a heads up, I got a message back from Mark Dodge that there is an issue with the ordering system right now. Example, when selecting a Big Horn it is only limiting you to select equipment level 1 and there is no option for level 2. The issue has been reported to corporate.
