2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I'm in Maryland. But it doesn't matter where its going or who your dealer is - its not the dealers fault. The shippers just leave trucks around for months.
You're a more patient man than I. I'd be on the phone with RAM North America and be demanding some answers

I have my vin, but not a von. When I asked my dealer bout the von I was told it's just for ram to track the order... I'm in plano illinois

I'm new to all this and don't understand the codes that people are using... like JSLD
the first post of the thread hits at it, but here is the thread that has those code details

Not sure what a poc is. I have configuration preview but no von number next to where it says A von number should be.

The price order confirmation sheet, when you place the order with the dealer they should give you one. The highlighted part is where it should beIMG_8250.jpg

Yes I have that sheet, but no number is printed on there, the very next day I got my vin number from the dealer... I don't want to be a pain but I may go see the dealer tomorrow after church and ask

They gave you the preliminary sheet before it’s submitted then

Well, my unicorn hit my driveway last Saturday after being delivered to me. Ordered 12/31/21 and it was delivered 8/6. It was a LONG wait, but definitely worth it! View attachment 42670
Looks like what I ordered 2/4/22 was in D1 until July 09 built and shipped almost in same week been sitting 2 hours away since end of July

My dealer is scheduled to deliver my truck to my daughter's house (she's in their free delivery radius) on Teusday. I'll be 11 days shy of 7 months. Close to norm for Jan order timeframe. My biggest delays were build date (27 May) and 57 days in vendor JB. It's been impossible to predict anyone's timeframe, some have gotten them much quicker.

I'd say start at page 1400 and read forward......you got the time.

LOL Let's see! If I add all those numbers together I bet I can get the total price. I understand the customer scratching out their name and address but ........

Today my tracker went from TBD for shipped to a 7/27 ship date, which is also the build date. Delivery is still TBD. Not sure why it took 17 days to update the tracker if it did indeed ship, but I’m skeptical.
My tracker only shows D1, My dealer has kept me updated, and overnight on Friday I went to JB.
Hopefully I won't break @pacnw1963's record for consecutive days in JB:D!

Once I posted it, I thought about it and was like whatever to late now

I’m pretty sure there was someone back when who went 70+ days. But alas, he is gone now and I guess I’m the holder of the trophy. My hope is I maintain the trophy for good and no one else has to bare that looooonnnnnggggg 58 day JB ride!!!

For those of us that are adding gravity feed auxiliary tanks.
I have attached a picture of what I used on my last truck, and what I have also put together to use on my new tank for the 2022 RAM I have ordered.

I am only posting this, because I have had no issues with gravity feed with this setup (and it might help others).
It actually doesn't just keep up with the fuel usage, but will top off the tank as you drive, without a fuel pump.
The key problem I found was the kit supplied by the manufacture says it's a 3/8" valve, but it actually only has about a 3/16" orifice.

What I do not show in the picture is that I continue a 1/2" ID fuel hose from the 1/2" barbed fitting in the picture, down to the adapter at the main tank fill hose.
I then have a 1/2" barb to 5/16" barb reducer to connect to the roll-over valve on the fill hose adapter.

I use a 1/2" 12V solenoid valve, because I could not locate a full port 3/8" solenoid valve.

I also will be wiring the 12V solenoid valve to one of my auxiliary switches in the cab (just make sure it is wired to a switch that only receives power with the ignition on).
You don't really need the 12V solenoid valve, it just makes everything more convenient to turn flow on/off from the cab (instead of manually).

I did this setup after I noticed that most barb fittings also reduce the flow (i.e a 1/2" barb fitting only measures 3/8" ID).

Just some thoughts.
