2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

11 weeks and 3 days after ordering, I picked her up today! Laramie and avoided any options that would send it out like a bed liner or was known for chip shortage delays.
That is FAST FAST! My truck was built in 7 weeks and its a pretty heavily loaded Laramie...if they had delivered it in a month after I would have been at 11 weeks too...but here we are still waiting over 6 months later...

KZX 07/25! It has arrived in Kernersville and working out payment and delivery options now! Total was a few days shy of 6 months and that included over 50 days hanging out with the cool vendors in JB.

Maybe that's when it got its 88 miles put on? Vendors might not all be close?

Brv10, glad I only pinged you twice and hope you get to spend some time on those cool motorcycles before winter freezes ya over!

Ordered 4/12 and ram tracker still says TBD for scheduled, but got the window sticker alert from crypto sticker so I looked at the dealerships website and it was there on the website. Called the dealership and they said it should be arriving sometime soon. My sales rep left that dealership so whomever took over her orders, has failed to communicate completely on any sort of updates. Hope to see it the next week or so but the guy I spoke to doesn't seem to know

Just went through the financing with Melinda; she was wonderful to work with on the zoom call. I got the 0% that I was really hoping to get. Score!
We should be setting up delivery soon.

But I also saw on the Ram App that my trucks gas tank was filled up and looks like it is at someone’s house, which I hope is for getting the ceramic coating…?
Who’s offering 0% financing? What are the terms?

Chrysler Capital, through your Ram dealer

0% for 36 months
1.9% for 48
2.9% for 60

Incentives end Aug 1.

I checked with USAA, Navy Federal, TDECU, Wells Fargo, and my home town First National. All in the 4-5% range for 60 months. Nothing better than the incentive with FCA right now.

Be careful on the FCA loan...if I'm not mistaken, there is a early payoff penalty if you have any intentions of ever doing that. Just FYI

Breathe..... That is great news, the window stickers come out a few days after the build. You could be in QC or in the JB vender wasteland for days or months. Then it will be shipped. Then the dealer works their magic. Be prepared for a few months, celebrate if it's less than that! Check my image a few posts back, that is closer to normal, some way shorter, some way longer. I think what's picked up lately has been the shipping.

Good call. Always confirm early payoff penalties. Seems odd to have an early payoff penalty on a 0% loan. It would benefit them to get the money sooner than later. We all know our dollar isn't going as far today as it did last year or two....

1500 Rebel here.
Ordered 6/20
In production 7/20
Built 7/22
Shipped 7/22

Pretty quick turnaround! Though now my dealer does not know when it will arrive and still shows TBD For delivery. Anyone have a good feel for that wait in zone 63? Not a Mark Dodge order. Am I looking at a week/two weeks/month for delivery?

Sorry, but I think you are going to be hard pressed to get any info here. The 1500 Rebel is made in Sterling Heights, MI unless I am mistaken, and we here expectant dad's are all heavy duties made in Mexico.

They are just as iffy on delivery times, but we are all HD peeps on here.

brv10 are you able to get rail info?

I have reached out to my dealer about it and they are useless when it comes to anything that doesnt make them money.

Thank you sir!

Good Morning RAM Owners and soon to be RAM Owners. I know this isn't the correct thread to post my issue, but I can't find a thread that seems to discuss. I also know long time Members like myself continue to monitor this forum, so I'm hoping someone has come across this problem and can help me understand it. Brutal H0 I apologize in advance!

Have now had my truck 7 months. Usually fill the tank between 1/2 and 1/4. Today my Fuel Warning Light came on at 1/4 tank. This seems to be too early for the Low Fuel Warning Light to be displayed. Is this usual for the newer vehicles? I'm old school and never needed a "Warning Light" to tell me to get fuel, but I know today's younger generation needs to be reminded to get fuel.

Has anyone else had this issue? Maybe my gauges aren't functioning properly?

Long time no hear! Still waiting, so I can't speak for the newbee that is on a train. But in my experience it is always based on current miles per gallon. On my 2006 Big Horn, the warning came on when I had apx 50 miles to empty left. If I was getting 25 mph, it could come on at the red mark. If I was pulling the 5er and getting 6 mph, it would come on just under the quarter tank mark. I may be way off because I am "2006 old school", FWIW

There is no such thing as "ZERO FINANCING". It's called 0% financing to make the buyer think they are getting a good deal. Nobody loans money for free!!! This started back in the late 70's in the furniture business. The Automobile Industry started advertising this gimmick to make sales because it works.

What most consumers don't understand is the price to finance is already built into the cost of the automobile. You may think you are financing at 0% but you have already paid the interest upfront. Yes! You still get 36, 48, 60, 72 months to pay the loan at no additional interest however:

Most people trade in their automobile on an average of 3 years on a new 0% loan for another vehicle.

At this point you are paying the interest upfront once again for the new vehicle while you take a loss on the sale or trade from your used vehicle because you paid a higher price to allow for the built in interests.

This is one of the biggest SCAMS in the automobile industry.

Good to see your still here on the Forum. In my case I still had 87 miles to empty according to the mileage indicator on the dash. I've only got 2500 miles on the truck and have only pulled a 12" flatbed trailer with a 800lb Harley once. That was a 750 mile trip. Guess I'm use to my old 2004 Avalanche where the Fuel Light came on when the gauge needle read empty and I had about 4 gallon left in the tank..... lol

Given the price of fuel, I tend to ride my Harley because I'm retired, so the truck sets much of the time......

I think that you are comparing 2 different scenarios in terms of the actual finance. Quick example: If I negotiate a trade for a paid off vehicle at 50,000 and the balance of the loan to purchase the new vehicle is 36,000. The payment for 0% at 36 months is 36,000 and $1000 a month. Now, if you mean the manufacturers build extra costs into the actual making of the vehicle, they probably do. We all pay that set cost.
