What did you do TO your RAM today?

Got the tailgate dampener installed along with factory bed step.

Almost went with the AMP step but I like how nicely the factory step tucks up.
Curious to know why you think the factory bed step is better than AMP. I’m also in the market for a bed step

No idea about quality, AMP has a rep for some good stuff. What swayed me was from all the pics I saw it looked like the factory one tucked up tighter and is less noticeable (which I prefer).

Installed the BedRug Impact truck bed mat. It’s pretty thick and dense rubber. Should do a good job of protecting the bed from unnecessary scratches and dents.

I think you have the 5th wheel prep. Did you take off the plastic plugs or do anything to the bedrug to make it fit?

I emailed them but I think they misunderstood when they replied: "Yes, You will need to trim the floor to accommodate the 5th wheel."
I would like to cover the entire bed for now, like yours.

Edit, noticed your is Impact mat, not rug.

This makes my washing the truck much easier. Its a Microfiber Wash Mop Head on a adjustable length handle especially doing the roof, hood, windshield and cover if you have one.View attachment 38929 View attachment 38928
First wash, I climbed on the roof, which is how I found out it's very thin metal and also made the truck "mine' with a small dent.

Got the truck on April 19th, and figured I'd post a compilation of mods so far. Some by me, some by a shop. I'm not sure how many pics I can add to this post, but I have several.

1) Ravelco anti-theft (our last Cummins Ram was 10 years old and stolen in Denver last Fall. Not interested to have a repeat)
2) Front window tint to match rear seat tint from factory
3) Clear bra on hood.
4) Husky liner under rear seat
5) Covercraft for rear seat, for dogs
6) Magnum headache rack
7) Pork chop box

Moved pinbox and hitch head to highest position, to clear porkchop box. Going that route so I can still put a quad in the truck bed. Clearance seems acceptable but not ideal (will monitor) Fifth wheel is empty so it's not loading the hitch as much as I'd like, to check the level/stance.

I installed a Black Market Performance REAR CAT WATER FILTER ADAPTER. I'm pretty happy with the kit, I absolutely hate the stock plastic cartridge housing and O-ring, it always gives me a hard time with binding even after I lube up the O-ring it still always gives me a hard time. It was almost faster and easier to install this whole kit than it normally is to get the plastic housing apart and back together. Once it was in the cat filter went on nice and easy, and the cat filters are around $20 - $23 to replace and readily available. I would do their engine bay conversion also if the initial install wasn't so complicated.

Since I don't have much else to do while I wait for my truck to get shipped to MD, I started ordering some of the stuff I want to put on the truck when I do finally get it home. I think it needs to start the shipping process soon or I might start dipping into my deposit to buy more stuff. Plus I'm going to start to run out of garage space, I'm already using the back of my jeep for storage!air suspension.jpgmethod wheels1.jpgmethod wheels2.jpgmisc.jpgthuren suspension.jpg
