I'd like to learn about some of the aspects, features, options or experiences with your new HD RAM that you initially like and dislike.
I have never owned a Dodge but I have owned every other mfg, which is the reason I gave the highly rated RAM 2500 a $67,500 go.
My Billet Silver Laramie is the fanciest truck I've owned. I'm a Tradesman level guy, never previously willing to spend the initial layout for trim levels. I trash stuff. That said, here:

Three things I like:
  1. The beautiful touch-to-unlock door handles! One of the first things I'm noticing is how much I like the no key, touch sensitive handles to unlock, incl. tailgate - plus the remote tailgate. I probably open and close the doors more than I drive it. Hardest part is remembering I DON'T have to fish the key out of my pocket.. just touch the handle and voila. Even the tailgate opens from "locked" - that's nice. I've dropped the tailgate remotely on approach too.
  2. Coil springs. This is a pretty comfy ride for a HD truck. Our dirt mountain driveway is long & washboard bumpy!!
  3. Adjustable 7" cluster.

Three things I dislike:

  1. The view rearward. This cab is comparably tight & bulky so my view of the passenger blind spot is diminished. Combine this with the worst passenger side mirror I've ever suffered. I intend to train my brain out of this issue...or trade this truck in. I hate it.
  2. Rain-sensitive wipers/Auto High beams and foam cup holders? I'd prefer to wait for enough water to land on the windshield to lubricate the dust on the glass & I don't enjoy the high beams coming on, then off for a road sign, then on, then off on off on off on off on off, yeah, it's like that. Stupid. ...like an expensive koozie.
  3. Eco light - another on-off-on-off-on-off over and over.
Overall, I'm pleased with my '22 2500.
I'd like to overcome my mirror issues but the other stuff I don't like is trivial. Hopefully these trucks will last us a good long time with relatively few problems. Cheers.

Wipers: I dont keep them on any setting other than off until it starts raining much like what i would do for normal wipers anyway.

High Beams: I rotate the dial for the lights out of auto. It will ding at you after you shut it off and open the door but thats a small price to pay for proper manual high beams.

Havent tried but might be able to disable both throuh alfaodb.

Eco light doesnt bother me. Much smaller than the one on my jeep. Seems a stupid thing to add though seein as it only comes on when letting off the gas.

Foam insert is dumb. And only in the drivers door? That prolly saves stellantis like 20 bucks quarterly compared to providing two.

Rain sense wipers, auto high beams, and eco light can all be disabled in the radio settings. Then you can use the wipers and high beams in normal manual mode.

That's what I did. Turned them all off within a month of picking up the truck. At first I was ok with the mirrors adjusting in reverse, but eventually turned that off too.

As for the topic....
Likes:
Comfort. I got the bench seat and think it is amazingly comfortable.
Customization of the dash. I'm still messing around with what I display, but like that I'm able to choose what I'm looking at.
Dislikes:
Like pretty much everyone else, i find that passenger side mirror to be pretty bad. I've made it work by leaving them folded down and adjusting the smaller mirror to look at the blind spot. Havent towed anything yet, so no idea what I'll do then.
Tire/wheel fitment. I'd like to run a larger tire without leveling/lifting. Dont get me wrong, not looking for the mall crawler type of look. Just something that fills out the wheel well. I'm finding it increasingly annoying trying to figure out what will actually fit.

I received both on my 2022 Laramie driver and passenger side.

Things I like about my truck:
Everytime the Cummins raises hell & praises Dale with a free flowing exhaust and over 500hp. The sound from the exhaust brake. Breaking necks including my own everytime I park and walk away.. always got to do the double take. The reminder of reliability with a C in my engine bay. The ride quality, interior space and quality. So glad I got the 21', perfect model year IMO. Love my gauge cluster and (finally) pretty figured out Uconnect (Yes I experienced the 19' Uconnect from my 1500).

Things I do not like:
Speed limits, Prius', Joe Biden, Trudeau, 5 round mags and that weird voice that comes from the back of the cab telling me to giver hell anytime I have my foot on the pedal. Oh and the non telescoping steering wheel.

Did I mention this truck is great?

I love having a dually for the first time!
Love the bench seat (also a first for me)
Love the ride quality, better than my coil spring 2500’s
First long bed, don’t know how I’ve lived without one for so long
This is my lowest trim level ever, and surprisingly my favorite truck
The most stable towing truck I’ve ever owned
Dislikes:
Probably the chrome, but it is easy to keep clean

Love everything about my truck except for no lighting under the hood. 100 grand and no lights over the engine.
Only the 2nd time I looked in here... The first was when washing the truck...The hood is soft and mushy thin as aluminum foil and I wondered if light would pass through... which might solve the no bulb issue.. but there's a liner to cover the super thin hood metal.
I'm really enjoying the NEW environment inside my truck..and I have to say reaching the 1000 mile mark, I am enjoying pressing down on the pedal.(occasionally due to immediate cost)

It makes absolutely no sense to put a flimsy aluminum hood on a heavy duty truck. Darn thing flutters going down the highway. Can't wait for the corrosion to start a few years from now.

My 2019 fluttered at hwy speeds, but thankfully, my 2021 does not

I opened the center console today and found there is a light that shines down to illuminate contents. It works like an engine compartment light...comes on when you lift the console's hood. ...

I discovered lights under the back seats last night. Very cool.

I stepped up from a 2014 Tradesman 1500 to a 2022 Laramie 2500, so I'm still getting acquainted with a lot of the technology, creature comforts, etc. But it's a "base model" Laramie (no Level 1 or 2), so it has normal wipers and normal headlights, and no foam cup holders.

My 1500 had the "bench" set, which isn't really a true bench), but I opted for the buckets with center console this time, and am loving all of the storage room etc that comes in the arm rest console.

My TM had the same towing mirrors as the 2500, so I am totally good with them now, although I do recall some hairy moments back in the day when I first bought it (like changing lanes and almost running people off the road). Although now that I think about it, one of them was a Prius, so, you know....... ;)

The reduced turning circle (compared to the 1500) has taken some time to get used to.

So far, the only thing that I don't like is the wicked bouncing that I get on certain roads (mostly long stretches of concrete pavement). @Firebird, is this something that you noticed as a difference between the coils and leaf springs? Maybe your new truck also behaves differently with the DRW setup. And I'm with you on the 8' bed. Game changer for me.

BTW - no hood flutter on mine.

The coil springs are rough! My leaf spring 2500’s were great, but hated the coils. If you really want a brutal ride, a coil spring 2500 with 20” wheels will knock your fillings out! The 1 ton with 17” wheels, 80 series tires and leaf springs is surprisingly comfortable

Good to know. I got the off road package which means 18” rims and 275/70 tires. Pretty decent amount of sidewall, and I’m running them at 50psi.

So sharp bumps are not the issue. It’s those stretches of rippled concrete. Feels a like an out-of-control massage chair. The fat rolls really get going

My 2500 with 20" wheels was so bad, that when hitting expansion joints, or bad bulges in the road, the rear axle would literally step out sideways. It was miserable

I removed the rear passenger seat headrest which opened up an excellent view of blindspot for my over-the-shoulder glance. I also, contrary to advice, aligned the large (over-magnified) passenger mirror to reflect the body of my truck which gives me that reference point.
I'm working on it.

This truck is heavy going down hill and needs braking.... I haven't fiddled with gear limit buttons yet but my old truck did that automatically. I miss grade descent control or w/e it's called.
G'Dave and I have very similar trucks. I also have the 18" wheels and 4x4 pkg, (not sure if those shocks help but) I was surprised with the ride quality (lol, compared to my '07 HD)

The turning radius is laaaarge, making this driveway ...interesting. Can't wait to be back in MT..but with all that open country I'll want your 8' bed.
I'm wondering if the bouncing youre getting is that weird rhythm from equally placed expansion joints. I haven't noticed this yet as CT, NY, MA roads are not consistent.
I can take some scary sideways bounces going down part of our mountain here where it's a steep washboard area...but I love blasting down our dirt road with a lot more confidence than in my Silverado.
As far as not getting the foam cup holders, there were a few other items on that lev. A pkg I wanted. I just wanted a Big Horn with LED's... but for $4k more I got ventilated seats and some trim level that makes me feel like I'm in some rich guy's truck...slightly out of my class. But it's actually mine, so that's cool.

Drop tire PSI, switch out the shocks for something better. If you want to do it right you need a set of shocks where you can tune the rebound and low speed compression. That hop is from low speed compression and bad rebound.

My wife thinks I only have 3 guns

You are lucky, my '22 hood flutters bad and looks like it is going to fly off going down the highway. My '19 1500 also did this, but they had a recall where they sprayed the underside with foam to make it stiffer
