I feel ya on that one. Our trip we just finished covered 2,410 miles and cost me roughly $1,000.00 in fuel. I say roughly as I didn't want to know.

Have to share this as well. While camping a couple of miles north of Williams AZ last week this was my neighbor with the ultimate tow rig. Looks like a mid 60's Mack carrying a 1st gen Ford Bronco towing a Fuzion toy hauler! Btw there was a UTV next to the Bronco on the other side!

Took a trip from Albuquerque to Clinton, MO to pick up new 5th wheel. MPG was right at 20 heading east cruising at whatever the speed limit was. On the trip home, got 10 the first day, and 8.5 driving into some fierce headwinds on the last leg through west Texas and eastern NM. Truck didn't care, though, just sucked more of that $5++ diesel.

Naw, my 2013 2500 handled it just fine, but I was over rated specs. The 3500 keeps me legal
Nice rig, and a nice campground. Been there a few times. It’s about an hour from my home.
