I've had no communication from my sales person at MD but I suspect it is because he has nothing to report, truck is still D. I contact him once per month and hit ram chat weekly. It is frustrating for sure but I don't think the blame should go to the sales person or the dealer. The silver lining is that I may get to order a 23 if this goes on much longer.I have had pretty poor communication from MD and its pretty disappointing esp since others have such great communication. Im always asking vs being told- i usually bug ram chat and then ask renee for the update then it takes a couple days for any response. Ive asked why trucked built after mine have been delivered and mine is till not there and crickets. Pretty frustrating.
@Bombaman renae is
No App! But my experience after making that trip back and forth for more than 15 years, don't leave San Antonio with less than a full tank of fuel when headed west and always fill up at 1/2 tank as you continue to travel west.Morning team looking for some help. I'm planning on taking the 2500 from MD and driving it back to San Diego. I want to plan out the trip and was curious if anyone has a good website or app to plan the trip to include stops fill ups and that sort of thing. Otherwise i'm going to wing it as usual with the waze app. It is going to be a long drive.

This! Almost ran out of gas short of Iraan because I failed to realize it takes 90% of your trip time just to get through TX its so damn big., don't leave San Antonio with less than a full tank of fuel when headed west and always fill up at 1/2 tank as you continue to travel west.
me too - 4 weeks and counting waiting for a truck. My poor baby just sitting at the rail yard baking.
Congratulations. Mine ,when ever we get it will be called Grams as I am called Gram(grandmother) by our grandkids. And the colour of our truck is bright white!! 7.5 months and waitingWell we finally made it to Lake Charles to pick our truck up. They wound up holding it for us for about 3 weeks. Then we get home and had/having severe storms so it didn't get cleaned up until today.
Everyone at Mark Dodge was great! Truck wasn't clean but I understand with all the pollen this time of year.
Anyways..happy with it. Little rougher ride than our F150 but we knew that going in.
Meet "Gram"..get it..a grey RAM.
May just call him "Big G"
Not a lot of frills but didn't want them or the price tag. Just a 2500 Hemi, BH, 4x4. Still have to get windows tinted and want to add the wheel well liners and maybe seat covers. Already added after market steps and a tonneau cover. Now to find my 5th wheel.
Thanks to everyone who helped out on this thread. So very helpful. Good luck to all and safe travels.
Ordered 1/19/22
At dealership 4/8/22

Oh now, don't forget to mention y'all have the booming metropolis of Tyler and Kilgore out there!I’m from East Texas, like 1 hr from Shreveport where there are no interstates. When I was stationed in San Diego it would take me 12 hrs to get to El Paso, another 12 hrs to get to Dallas, then a final 3 hours cutting through all the small towns just to get home.
The state is larger than France!

Seems like they got you on a truck pretty quickly. And like you said, what’s one more truck ride?!Kody at MD took care of getting the shipper lined up. Truck left MD today and will be at my door on Thursday. I will pay $1,000 for the shipping. The truck has survived rail yards, and truck shipping already so I'm not too concerned about one more truck ride. Plus, I can watch it (location) the entire time on the RAM app that you get.
It sure sounds like it! At least they didn't tell you their ETA system was down for maintenance.Haha, just did my daily check in with RAMChat.. Is this their way of telling me to stop bugging them for my status!

Good news, your truck is in the shipping stage! Your Ram sales person will call you when it reaches the dealer.

We have asked the same question. No answers . Will be eight months on May 13 of waiting and no answers. That is the eternal question no dealer nor anyone here appears able to answer.

But for real, it's a beautiful area as long as you like the color brown and tan.

Well this is good to hear. I’m Merchant Marine and a first responder. I’m going to call at the end of this week and check again. It will be the 20 week mark for me at that point. If truck is still not moved, it might be time to start requesting some these “phone calls” to be made.I want to say mine and P.A. trucks left Saltillo around 3/23 and made it to Port Allen on 4/1. My truck was completed on 3/4 and put into JS on 3/5 along with matemike . For some reason, my truck was released KZ on the 23rd while Mike’s got stuck in purgatory.
Now there has been a huge delay in shipping since mine got its ticket, but if your on a car that’s moving to Port Allen, you should bet on a week. As for sitting at the rail yard, I just played it patiently for about a week, reached out to Aaron and told him I was running short on time. MD is very military friendly, Aaron made a couple phone calls, and my truck showed up about a week later. I’ve said before that could be coincidental, but it worked out.
From Saltillo to delivery at MD was 3/23 - 4/12, about three weeks.
