4% Under Invoice on any Retail order HD Ram Truck

I can confirm that…I ordered the f350 on 2 December and based on your input, switched to the ram order on 1/24. Ram is currently en route to Kansas City Argentine yard…I would still be waiting for the ford to be built!
My regret equals about $1700 by not ordering a Ram in February. At that time, I was looking at getting a Limited Longhorn. I really wanted the night edition, but really liked the Longhorn interior. So, I waited...till the end of March and when I saw the price increase, I focused in on getting an order. Which was good in hindsight as I never bothered back in February to check that the Limited had the NE. Done deal right then and there.

BTW, I did also really want a Tremor (and would be waiting probably longer) at one point, but all in all, even though this Ram is more $, very happy and very happy Granger is 175 miles up HWY 35.

Yup, I had the tremor on order. That’s a nice truck. Glad I switched to the ram just for the sake of getting the truck sooner! Unfortunately for me, granger is 1,150 miles away but still worth the trip for the savings!

@zach@granger a little birdie told me my truck should arrive at the Argentine truck yard in Kansas City late today or possibly tomorrow. What type of timeline have you been seeing from delivery to truck yard to delivery to the dealership? Understand there has been some constraints/delays with the trucker shortages

It sounds like you need to pay off that birdie to get here quicker. :)

I've seen anywhere from 45 days to 3 days sitting at Kansas city. Super unpredictable lately.

Well I'm happy to say that I just placed an order for my wife's new vehicle with Granger for a Wrangler 392 to sit next to my PowerWagon in the garage. Jackie is very responsive and easy to work with. Now comes the interminable wait for it to be built and shipped.

Order placed 4/4 - VON assigned, Scheduling Priority: 1-Sold Order, Build Priority: 01
4/11 - VIN assigned, Status: D - Firm schedule, serial number is assigned

Granger was so easy to work with so far while my local dealer wouldn't even discuss ordering our 392 for anything less than MSRP and lied about a customer sold order cutting in to his dealer stock allocation so they lost the sale. Now to memory hole the order in my mind so I'm not constantly thinking about trying to get updates... ;)

Well folks, I just got to see the Stellantis June parts restraints list sent to dealers and anybody wanting to order soon is in trouble. They are struggling. Here are items from the HD List:

Mopar Options: Avoid these wherever possible. Increases ship time, delays, and is subject to more parts shortages.
Sunroof (all models): Avoid sunroof on all models.
Slush mats: Due to an industry wide shortage, please avoid Slush Mats on all models.
NOTE: As we progress through scheduling options may be added to this list.

Ram HD
• ASH - Night Edition
• XAN - Blind Spot & Cross Path Detection (Orders held in BG where optional)
• GWA – Sunroof
• AAN – Towing tech group
• NH3 – Adaptive cruise control (AAU, AAV, A69 on limited
• AAV – Safety Group
• -XT – Black cattle tan interior
• MDN – Mopar Step
• MY7 – Power deployable running boards
• ANT – Bed utility group
• CKJ – Black Vinyl Flooring
• CFN - 60/40 Folding rear seat (all trims Laramie and higher)
• XML/XNH Mopar 5th Wheel Hitch
• AHU – 5
th wheel prep group
• XB9 – Ram Box
• JVK – 115V Outlet on Tradesman and Big Horn
• APD – 2 tone paint
Zach,

Could you explain how this might affect a D status order? Is this for a scheduled June build only? Since I have the Limited on order, it does have several of these items as standard. I am not interested in dropping anything. The only things I have added to my order is ASH and AAN. I did delete the Ramboxes. Is the CFN the Mega Cab rear seats?

All good and I will be waiting it out. Information helps to understand. Appreciate it!

I could be wrong, but this is how the dealer explained this to me. You are only assigned D once all parts have been identified for your build. Then it continues through the usual build process, so that said.. you shouldn’t see delays from this if you are already D as all parts have been assigned.

This is an indication of what will slow down the order. I don't have an idea on which one slows it down more. First retails will take priority over stock orders, but then it will be limited by commodity. It seems Ram is prioritizing making the high dollar figure trucks over the Big Horn/Tradesman level trucks with whatever commodities they have available.

Sorry of this doesn't help much with solid data.

I like the Limited. Just lucky that it might be built earlier than other models. Kind of follows me with the slow downs. Really like the RAM better than the other brand choice. Great that I was able to jump in and get the RAM. May not have it by mid-summer, but confident it will arrive before the MY 23 switch.

Appreciate it.

My Granger order is at the Argentine truck yard as of the 11th and waiting for a lift to the dealer. Can’t wait to finally get the call so I can book my plane tickets to pick it up! @zach@granger how often are you guys seeing delivery trucks show up (mine should be coming via midwestern car carriers) from the truck yard?

So jealous can't even see straight. That yard is in the Argentine area of KCK which borders KCMO by the MO River. Not too far from my previous working stomps for 34 years. Literally 20 miles or so south of where we live now.

You lucky, lucky b@stard. Post some pics when you pick it up!

Will definitely post pics when it finally arrives! The yard is only about 1,150 miles away from me, so the feeling of being “close” doesn’t apply..but if you happen to be in the area and want to snap some spy pics of a white NE 3500 SRW sitting at the lot, feel free LOL!!

@zach@granger at what point can we lock in financing? I supposedly have an estimated ship date of 4/29 and am hoping to lock in that 0% financing offer.

Financing rates for a 3rd party bank can be done within 30 days of the delivery date. For a rate that is incentivized, it needs to be on the ground and ready to deliver to lock in the rate.

Just ordered my dream truck yesterday from Granger, a 3500 longhorn mega cab, and can confirm this pricing is for real and awesome. It was a great experience. Got the order done in half a day with some changes (my fault) along the way. It was easy to send the deposit and VON was assigned shortly after. Now the waiting begins!

Great! Would you mind adding your info to the Officer Dirty Sanchez sheet when you get a VIN? Helps us all to follow the orders:

A link is also under the:

That would be nice if we could get information about when it’s on the ground and on its way to final location.

By on the ground and ready to deliver, I think he means "at the dealership"...
