Recommendations from anyone who has already done it. Some of the regular options seem to still be sorting there programming.

Yeah I'm waiting for Tazer to get their act together or AEV to get some procal's in. I was going to try Alpha OBD but it seems like it's a bit of a hassle.

Its no hassle at all plus gives you a ton of other features

I've heard it throws alot of codes etc doing the tpms and tire size for the 2022's. Also I can't seem to get any updates for it at all. I just haven't seen alot of guidance out there for the new trucks which is why I'm leary.

Where did you hear it throws codes? I have yet to hear one issue that was not operator error

youtube videos. But if that's the case I'll give it a go. Are the instructions for doing it the same as the other gens? I did the adjustments on an 18 and it was flawless.

and there's no pin required on the 2022's correct? or maybe even 19 and up?

I think I have to do a bit of modification to my bypass cable. shaving some key off of it. But as far as how to do the changes, is it the same as the 4th gen trucks?
Check out the Alfa thread here in the modification section it has the info you seek

Must have been some changes with newer trucks as far as information is concerned since I last checked. Hope the op finds this useful.

There is a youtube video that I posted in a few other threads, don't remember the guys name, but it has all the info you need for changing TPMS and tire size.

His video is on one of the older versions so the computer graphics are a bit different than the newer ALFAOBD. But the process is still the same.

Where people have problems is that they don't watch the complete video. Yes it throws a few codes when you change it. But if you watch the rest of the video, it shows how to clear them as they are expected.

I think I even posted a set of instructions either on the ALFAOBD thread or in my build thread.
I changed it on my'21 along with several other options.

One of the better videos I've found here (just make sure you're using the correct MY):

It's odd that he shows 2016 and no RF hub reset - which IS NOT required on 18+, but the process is otherwise the same.

Maybe he selected 2016 and auto-detect fixed it for him.

That's the one I was talking about that I used when doing my '21

So it does throw codes. I thought that was the case. Any issues with codes being thrown for TPMS lowering? Also I have the link MX and not the MX + Any reason it won't work on this new truck?

I lowered my TPMS threshold down to 25 PSI. No issues at all.
I run 45/37 in my tires for daily driving.

Well guess I'm getting a tablet then seeing our old kindle fire is getting rediculously slow. Hopefully when I setup the new one I can get the newest verious of alpha obd. I cannot get the other one to update to save my life.
