I'm giving them until June 1 for some action, if nothing I'll just go buy a truck off a lot. This is already cutting into my camper purchase. It's ridiculous seeing the exact same trucks ordered 3 months after mine being delivered already.

As my truck is sitting at the final destination lot waiting for final mile delivery, got a Ram Care update moving my estimated delivery date to 4/12-4/28. Since I definitely didn’t get the truck today I’m going to venture a guess that it won’t be tomorrow either. Will I reach the 10 month mark? Taking guesses on dates.

So out of curiosity, what seems to be the average time from trucks being built, to the time they get shipped? Tomorrow I hit 31 days per the dealer and other members, just seems like a long time to "wait on a train ticket."

Mine was released from the factory on 3/13. Still waiting for a ride as far as I know. Hopefully it gets one this week.

Now I’m not feeling great about my order Feb10 (Ottawa, Ontario - Limited 3500, HO loaded except sunroof and snow). I don’t even have a VIN yet…

I don't have a vin ,it's crazy,seven months tomorrow.

I was pretty sure it was the ram boxes that were holding my build up. All the recently built limiteds had the ram box deleted.

My cancelled ordered from 11/17/21 had Ramboxs on it. It was built the end of March. If someone wants it, it may be at the dealer by the end of the month.

Did you check with the dealership you ordered from for the VIN/VON? It was probably a month before RAM sent me notice related to my order but the dealer had the VIN and VON long before then.

I wonder if they are having a hard time getting rides heading west. I only assume from your name that you are out west, but my 5500 has been built since 3/13 as well and simply says "TRACOMEX SALTILLO YARD" with a shipping date of 3/13. Does anyone have any insight on what the deal is with shipping? My VIN #3C7WRNEL0NG240672 and headed to Phoenix. Was built in a fairly timely manner but now sits for over a month.

Mine had been sitting in the Altamira yard since 3/7 and waiting for a boat to road island heading to NY

With Canadian orders you won’t get a VIN till the truck is pretty much built. VON should be available and depart should be able to give you a build code.. mine is 3 months and still waiting parts before build date.

Well , all I can say is this truck is AHHHMAZING! I'm halfway home to Florida with 400 miles to go and other than the bad storms in Louisiana, it's been a great trip! Otis, Shawn and Jimmy at Mark Dodge were great and it was the best car buying experience I've ever had to date.

Last night on TV I saw a Ford commercial promoting to come in and make a custom order. They were offering a $1,000 rebate to do so.
Are any other big brands doing this? Ram, GM? Or for cars?

Are we folks here ahead of the times?; being that we have made custom orders and are showing this to be the preferred route, thus we are paving the way of the future in auto purchasing?

We custom ordered a Ford Expedition in 2016 because we wanted a few options offered on the limited but did not want many of the options that came standard. So we started with an XLT and then "a-la-carte" selected the options we wanted, leather seats, sony sound system, rear captain seats, rear ac controls, no tv's in head rests, 20" wheels, dual radiators, 3.73 gears. Fits us perfect. But until last night I had never seen the idea to place a "custom order" advertised.
