2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

exactly what best friend keeps telling me to pass on mine and wait a little bit. these trucks got soo expensive people will stop buying them soon and the fuel price qill be so high u can get one for next to nothing. there absolutely is a recession coming it's only matter of time. at 2 percent apr I think I'm doing ok but things keep rising.

We had sold our place in the Keys about a year after PCSing to Jax, being a landlord wasn’t horrible, but with my father-in-law moving to VA and a great offer on the table we couldn’t pass it up. Add that to a pending retirement and growing housing rates, and we just decided to buy an RV and travel. The only thing getting in the way is fuel prices, but we’re considering dropping off our second vehicle when we get to TX and just cramming in the Ram.

Your truck is at the dealer, not sure if you knew, on 4/7.

Good morning, could someone please check if my truck has been shipped already or still waiting for the train ride... Thanks
VIN: 3C6UR5KL1NG244942

There are a lot of 12/31 orders in D and D1, odd.

I do not understand why.....I am sure there are many trucks after the 12/31 orders that are built with the same options and delivery locations. IF mine gets built on 5/16, it may hit the dealer lot 7 months after the order date.

We have a 2 week RV trip in June, I thought for sure I would have a truck by then. I sold my current 3500 Ram and luckily my Dad will let me use his to tow RV if mine doesn't make it in time. Really bummed that I may not have my truck by this trip, but hopefully by our 2 week RV trip in July.

The more I think about it, the more I get pissed off. But there is nothing I can do about it, except WAIT!!

My traincar seems to be stuck at emporia Kansas since April 5th..ETA to Argentine truck yard in Kansas City is April 13th. It’s only a 1 hour train ride

Mine is at 16 weeks today since ordered. Got built at 11 weeks exactly. Been sitting now in Mex for 5 weeks in JS status waiting on final insp and a shipping assignment.

@brv10 , can you see if there is a shipping assignment, or if there is any foreseeable movement? 3C6UR5FJ3NG227732 thank you kindly

You are still D, very strange!

It appears that the boat with my truck has arrived this AM in Baltimore and has begun the unloading process. Anyone have any experience lately with the process at the port to delivery to dealer? My dealer is only 2 hours from Baltimore so it should be loaded on a vehicle carrier for delivery. Just not sure the length of time for the VPC and release to delivery expectations. Hoping there are many trucks on waiting to go to the Philly area so it can catch a quick ride.

I hope it moves quick, Baltimore is notoriously slow for some reason.

Should I be worried about Ram Chat mis-identifying my VIN?

I placed a new order less than 2 weeks ago - on 29 Mar - and I've been familiarizing myself with forums and tools. I went to the Ram Chat tool, and provided my VIN - 1C6HJTAGXNL153852 . The operator identified the VIN belonging to a Jeep Gladiator, but my order is for a RAM 2500. Is this a common thing to have the vehicle mis-ID'd this early in the process?

Nah, they did the same for me. They copy/paste responses a lot.

Not sure if it was a mistype or not, but the VIN you posted starts with a 1, and all of the ones in the spreadsheet start with a 3.

That should not be an NL, should be NG. You have the new HD Gladiator.
