Sub'd.

I'm having my S&B tank installed on Monday, along with a FASS system...I'm curious to read more members' reviews on these tanks for sure.

Very good quality. Get yourself some Vibrant performance AN fittings to go with the built in sump on the S&B tank for your fass.

I just installed my 65gallon s&b on the long bed 3500. I have not gotten Themis far but it doesn’t seem there is a way to reset the tank. Plan on filling it up tomorrow after I mortgage the house. How does it work? Stays looking full until it gets to 33 or the gauge is just always off?

Yea need gauge will work fine but digital miles to empty won’t. Get an alpha obd2 if you want to adjust your computer.

I picked up the truck late yesterday evening from the shop, so I waited until today to grab some pics.

I didn’t get a chance to run it on an extended run to get a good synopsis for you guys, but I plan to do so within the next week.

The tank’s depth/decreased road clearance has been a point of note/concern for some, but in my opinion the clearance doesn’t seem like it will be an issue when looking at it in real life.

I do plan on grabbing the AlfaOBD software & associated hardware, so that I can change the fuel tank settings (as well as tinker with other software and options settings).

When observing this week, I’ll be looking for changes in fuel mileage, pump noise, drivability, and overall subjective feel. I’ll keep an eye/ear out for any possible complications/negative issues that arise.

Let me know if you guys have any questions. More to follow soon.

I’ve asked before, but didn’t get an answer so I assume no, but can you use JScan to adjust DTE or this a AlphaOBD only option?

I’m not sure. I’ve only seen alpha obd2. Not sure about the other one.

Is the fass lift pump necessary for one of these tanks? I assume if you have a cp4 or plan for weight watchers down the road it’s a good idea, but what about if you are only using it to decrease your towing fuel stops.

I will be towing a 32’ GN most of the time, so the upgrade to 50 gallons was a definite “must have”.

I wanted to increase the longevity of the fuel pump and injectors, so the FASS was another “must”.

My understanding is the the OEM tank would have to be dropped to install the FASS system, so it made sense to my to knock out both installs at the same time.
