Looking some help with my status. Ordered from central Canada and the dealer said they’ll have no updated until they have a VIN. The order was submitted 15/02/2022 (Ram limited with everything except snow and sunroof) and the VON is 54420692… dealer said 4 to 5 months. Any information to easy the pain of the Canadian wait times would be appreciated.

I ordered 12/20/21 ... still BG ... no commitment from Ram to build it yet
 
If I don’t get my order within 6 months, I told my dealership I’m not taking the 2022 model. I know there is other factors here but I said I can wait until spring 2023 for a 2023 model.

Mine was ordered Oct 15 2021 and finally hit shipping yesterday, you have a bit of a wait, what dealership did you order from?

They didn’t start production of the ‘22s until August of ‘21, and some of those orders like [mention]DelRed22 [/mention] are still waiting.

Capital Dodge in Ottawa… I’m expecting July/August but once we hit September, I will be reassessing all options including moving to Ford and ordering a 2023 model. I know there is a shortage and all the “stuff” as a result of Covid but spending this kind of money (as we all know) and waiting…

Nice…3 and a bit months…lucky. Not sure what’s the issue for Canadian orders are? Seems to take a few months long than the US in a lot of the cases. Enjoy your truck!

It took me 4 months and 3 days to get my Limited 3500 truck. The highly optioned Laramie 3500 that I ordered and canceled but came in anyways took 6 months and 3 days. Some of them take longer especially the highly optioned mid level trim levels. At least that's what was happening last fall.

Ford's wait times are just as bad as Ram's, if not worse.

I'm in Ridgefield. Ordered mine in 3/16, hoping to make the drive from Granger, Iowa. Never had any issues driving other trucks or cars from out of state. I always stayed at the more higher end hotels and inquire about their security on the property at the front desk.
 
That's all the information I was given other then information I have dug up here from u all

If you can’t wait that long and will just order a 2023, you’re then gonna wait that long all over again.

You’ll never get a new custom order truck.

Not my point… if I have to wait 6/7 or 8 months, then I might as well wait until next spring since the 2023 will be out. My points is that I can wait and the dealer said 4/5 months, so if it’s 6/7 or 8 why would I take a 2022 when I
would have just waited to order the 2023.
 
As it relates to the systems that Ram Chat or the Dealer look at for an order status, do they update just once a day (overnight) or would it update periodically through out the day if a status would change? My dealer tells me he checks every morning. Just curious if my dealer says no updates when he checks in the morning, if Ram Chat might have a different update that evening.
