2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Randy, that's what they said to me I left it alone for a month without checking it was lost and never built until I started going and digging myself it was an order all of a sudden again. Don't let up or you will be in my boat with a lost order and have to reorder waiting so long the 2023 will be out before I get mine.

J-J I will stay on top of them. I've been checking Ram Chat once a week since February and texting my dealer every 2 weeks for an update.

3500 SRW Cummins HO Mega Cab, Short Bed, Air Suspension, cargo camera with tow mode, no BSM, no sunroof, granite crystal metallic. I think it was Level C at the time I ordered. Ordered at my local dealership Jay Hodge Dodge, Hugo, OK.
That Lvl C stands out to me, I remember looking at Laramie back when we ordered and it was still Lvl 1 or 2. I'm no expert, but there are several similar trucks that have been finalized like that.

maybe a member here with some connections could push some buttons.... I would at least request a sit-down with the sales manager and owner to find out what's going on and how it can be pushed.

Sorry, went and looked at my POC form again and it was "Laramie Level D Equipment Group". Also Sport Appearance Package. We were hoping for the Night Package but that and power folding mirrors were not available at the time.

Yeah, the lack of materials to dress up a Laramie made my wife and me look at Limited and Longhorn trims. I do remember when the C & D groups came out during those parts shortages. I just don't see anything that could be holding it up unless it's those C & D revisions to the appearance groups.

gator6, I would be happy to go back to my original choice of Level B and Night Edition if my level D is too hard to come by!!:D Someone at the plant should just give me a call!

I wouldn't push it too much at this point. Some of the users here have had some recent surprises. I would though try and talk with senior members at the dealership and see if you could sit in on some phone calls to Stellanis for answers.

There wasn't much of a cost difference between a limited and a optioned out laramie, so I went with the Limited to ensure I got everything I wanted.

I think when I did the same it was around $5k. Once I found the option for the Black & Tan interior on the Longhorn, I was torn between what I ordered and the Limited I had planned out. That interior is just worth a little bit of chrome for me.

Oh hell I work in Idabel. Not too far from you.

Reading some of the recent posts over the past 3 pages makes me feel like I am just whining, but today marks 2 weeks of KZT status sitting on a train car at the end terminal train yard in Pearland, TX. So close, yet so far.

It’s a tough waiting game, especially knowing it’s so close. My order has been built for 2 weeks and is still waiting for a boat ride out of Mexico-then who knows how long to get it to the dealer once it lands at the port.

Yeah, mine only took 8 or 9 days to catch a train, and about 4 days to get to the terminal. Just didn't expect it to take this long to hit the ground. Just seems like they would want to empty the rail car so it be used for other cargo. I've seen the Italian Job, doesn't take that long to load 3 cars, so should be just as quick to unload them, right??? LOL

After hearing some of these rail car horror stories, I’d just prefer that they take their time. I’m not trying to have damage repair on top of my wait time.

From everything I have seen, Mark Dodge seems to get their trucks built the fastest. Not sure if it's because they sell so damn many or their staff know all the tricks to ensure the truck order process is done correctly but if I were to start the process today, I'd go to Mark Dodge even though it's a 2000 mile drive for me to get it home. If you are in a position where you aren't worried about a shortened buying experience, go where you want but if you want a good buying experience, Mark Dodge. I"m saying this and I ordered my truck closer to home while I see trucks ordered a month or so after mine get delivered and I still don't have a build date, equip list or window sticker...
While I am very happy with my Mark Dodge experience so far, I can't say that I agree with them getting built quicker. I am 7 weeks in and still D status on a 2500 big horn gasser. Lots of trucks ordered around me have been built or have D1 status. and few have been delivered. They MAY get shipped quicker due to being closer to the plant and having higher volume. As far as building them goes, I think the workers at the plant take turns throwing darts at a large board to determine which truck gets built. Seems like the most logical answer anyway.

Mine is sitting in Memphis TN waiting for the last leg tomorrow on to Nashville TN. Has an ETA of 5:20pm and then the wait for unloading and transport to the dealer 45 minutes away. Getting closer but yet still so far away. Been a long wait since 1 Nov order date.

Got the crypto email today saying the build sheet is available to view. Have a question. What does this mean? Mirrors-Tow Pwr Adj Heat Black. Does it mean power adjustable as in...in out, up down, extended them out or just the mirror themselves? Also it says D1-D regress. Does that mean it went down in status? The original estimated ship date was yesterday 3/14. No window sticker yet.
