Your gun is poop

Why somebody would “decorate” a gun to look like a toy or a child’s plaything is beyond me. Probably the same type of person who sits a pistol on the dashboard because they’re too cool for holsters and have no regard for safety

Confirmed lmao
She mounts most of hers right under the steering column sideways, with the shape shift its easy to rotate to any angle.

I leave my shotgun on the dashboard using two magnum magnet mounts from midwayusa.com..
rifle and revolvers are just stuck down between the middle seat and passenger seat for the rifle and driver's seat and middle for revolvers . Bigger pistols get jammed under the folded down middle seat.

Yes, I run a very high tech ship.

Decorating a gun to look like anything is a personal preference. I scratch my head at all these 22" even 20" wheels on these trucks and jeeps... who off roads with those‽ defeats the whole purpose of a truck. Anyways same concept...

I don't use a holster , am I bad?

I'm not gay I just like rainbows
I looked at the photo and originally thought surely no one did that to a scar 16 but it appears after closer examination to be an airsoft scorpion. I have a Scar 17S and couldn't imagine anyone doing that to a $4,000 rifle.

How are you liking your Scar 17s? I'm looking at off loading my MDR and get into a LMT or custom built from my guy in Vegas. DMR Rilfes, he builds some insane rifles and gas guns

I did change the trigger to a timken because the original I found pretty heavy and I have an ACOG sight on it and absolutely love to shoot the 17S. It's a .308 that feels like a .223 because of the heavy bolt and the way it ratchets back. A quick photo from before the fishing accident when they all went to the bottom of a murky lake. Even the tracking devices in a couple of them stopped working in the water for some reason. It was a huge loss.

Whether you are or you aren't bad I doubt a holster plays any part in.

Follow your own arrow, after all whose life are you living, theirs or yours?

Thank you for responding... I follow my own arrow, but the tendency for many is to control and tell how their arrow should fly. Stating someone is bad for not using a holster is one such example... I don't always use a quiver on my bow when I hunt or shoot... I carry it on a belt or bag, or in my back pocket so should that be considered good or bad? Holster or no holster?

But what I can offer is other ideas of how to carry a weapon, reload, etc. Hence my post stating I don't always use a holster, and I'm well adverse with firearms and archery since we are on an arrow kick. For fun I got my Order of Arrow in scouts before they turned into girl scouts

Reading a couple of these post with embellishment of the weapons I do suggest caution. I was a CHL instructor for years in the state of Texas and had to go through a week long course for the certification. One full day is spent with legal and there are a great deal of legal issues in both CHL and gun ownership and usage. Remember just because it may not be against the law to shoot someone in your home doesn't mean you may not be subject to civil litigation. The attorneys that spent the day with my class cautioned against anything that embellished a weapon beyond general function. Slogans, flags, political statements etc. While you may be perfectly within your legal rights that doesn't mean in a civil court the person shot or their family couldn't sue you for everything you have and anything a Jury might take as an invitation to aggression or trying to prove you were looking for an opportunity to shoot someone can be your downfall depending on your location and the jury. Just my opinion.

@Max1 this is great advice. I completely understand. I work in Healthcare and get sued every month.... No matter what we do to minimize you will get sued and it's always by the crazy families.

Most criminals have some crazy families so by default you are going to get sued no matter what you do civilly, right or wrong. If a dressed up gun that says Trump all over it gets you into more trouble then i'd counter sue for discrimination :)

Woohoo, coming up in the queue to get my AAC cans converted by ECCO Machine.

Going to run Xeno mounts on everything.

Let me know how it goes, I was looking into that for my AAC cans as well. I don't use them as much as my TBAC cans

I have a TBAC-22TD and love it. Baffles clean right up in the sonic cleaner. No high power TBAC cans.

I've been in the queue for the AAC since late August. They were out about a year at one point, but the queue is shrinking with more output and slightly less demand. Then again, since the resurface of AAC at PSA and their "no warrantee" statements, I have feeling more will be jumping on conversions and/or recores. I don't recall if ECCO can jailbreak an AAC, perhaps. If he can recore, he should be able to jailbreak one.

I was thinking about picking up my adapters and muzzle devices a week or so ago thinking I surely must be coming up soon and left them all sitting in a cart. Got a heads up today they would be calling the next batch starting Monday and went to checkout and some were OOS. They're plentiful elsewhere, just had to pay a little more.

I'll be putting all my AAC muzzle devices up on the popular local gun board soon. I have one local guy already in the queue for some. The ECCO conversion is only $200 but replacing all the muzzle devices can be a bit of an expense. I could buy another rifle can.

I'll be hand delivering them as they're local to me and he's also going to swap a flash hider that needs a pin/weld on my 14.5 Noveske Recce I never bothered to SBR.

Sounds like you have a fun project. I was looking into doing the Area 419 conversions and stopped after I was calculating all the muzzle brakes I'd have to buy and sell... turned me off!!!!

Zak at TBAC told me at SHOT to send in my older TBAC cans to be recored with the new Ultra gen 2 stuff, but other things have kept my cash busy, like finding powder and bullets! I did pick up an AUG randomly and it has been a blast.

Now I'm selling my Raptor, which I love to get something to tow more lbs and fit 4 crazy kids and their mom.

I'll have to post my MRAD , just got a 400 Norma barrel, working on some loads right now

Ha ha ha ! Long crazy crazy story. A guy is in jail, ATF is involved, hundreds of thousands of dollars involved and a group of 7 of us on the Hide (Snipershide.com) are all in this together, let's just say the MRAD is on loan until I get what we invested in... it's a crazy long story and one after the courts, we will be happy to tell and should make a movie of!
