So here is a new one.......
My truck has been at the railyard since @01/23. So it's been three weeks. Decided to call RAM today and suddenly my delivery dates are gone and I'm in "shipping status". Ok, what happened to my dates (02/11 was the last date it was supposed to be delivered)? Ram - Sorry we don't have any information on that but we will open a case. Of course that means nothing because they will never answer that.
Found out that evidently my truck was damaged, dealer and Ram of course have no knowledge of this. Went to my dealer and they called some kind of regional manager and he confirmed the vehicle was damaged but does not know to what extent. They will look into this and have answers this coming week - doubtful if you ask me.
If I did not come across this information do you think Ram would have ever said anything - I think not. Do I cancel and go through this hell again - maybe. The dealer promised I would get a full report of the damage - yes of course now that I'm aware of it, would Ram or the dealer have mentioned this had I not found out? Lets say its the typical bumper damage - how long to get a new one, how long to get any parts? More reason to cancel sooner rather than later. Will Ram offer any kind of discount - I highly doubt it.
My dealer was responsive and the GM came out to assure me I would have answers, so I'll give them that. Ram however I feel is being evasive and shady if you ask me.
