2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

My sales lady sent me this today but there’s no rail car number on it.
I’m hoping for the end of February or early march

My early October Longhorn build - LT275/70R18 Transforce HT - Date Codes 3421 thru 3721 (August-Sept). Laramie built in October with same Transforce HT tires had all 4 with 4121 date code (week beginning Oct 11) or within a couple of weeks of truck build.

I would say they are receiving Tire/Wheel assemblies very soon after tires are manufactured and using them up pretty fast now that line is in production mode. Transforce AT may be a bit slower as they are an Option but only thing that would cause you to have older 1821 (May 2021) tires is if you had odd wheel trim like my Longhorn or truck was held up for some reason.

Definitely worth checking for 1821 date code, but unlikely that anything built since Sept or Oct would have tires that "old". More likely late 2021 or very early 2022.

AND NOTE: ALL TRUCKS even with 20 inch wheels get the LT275/70R18 Transforce HT for a spare - DONT FORGET TO CHECK YOUR SPARES.
Thank you sir for your insight.

Just curious...does anyone with a confirmed shipped truck have it show up on ramtrucks.com inventory as "In Transit"? I originally thought it might. But, wondering if for some reason they do not post sold orders?

Been trolling for awhile trying to get an idea on how fast trucks move through the process. No way to figure this out. This will be my first Ram. I’ve had 6 F250’s over the years as company trucks but canceled with Ford and our fleet company told me to build a Ram. Truck was ordered 11-19-21. I’ve asked for VIN but they said that doesn’t happen until truck is done. I know that’s not true now that I’ve found this forum. All I’ve got is this from Fleet company.

No wonder the tires are always at 95PSI.
I have bought five Ram trucks since 2014 and not once has the air in the tires been adjusted during the PDI. All five of them were bought at different dealers around the country. The truck I just bought I took it back to the dealership and told them they needed to take care of it, mainly because the inner tires on a dually are a pain to adjust with the valve extensions they use. Still took the tech almost a half hour to get all of them done.

I’ve wondered the same thing. It’d be extra assurance it’s actually real and and does exist. Something new my wife could catch me staring at. She can’t wait till this is over.

I’ve got a fleet order from same company ordered on 10-15 and I still have no VIN and can’t get any updates besides build is approved and waiting on parts to be gathered. Talked to another guy on here that ordered a week before me. Seems like he’s in the same boat too

Mine has been sitting at the rail yard after coming off the train for about a week. Does not show on the dealer or ram website as inventory in transit.
