It’s a Rossi copy of a Winchester. 16” barrel .357. Us tradesman folk aren’t on the marlin pay scale lolIs the lever rifle a Winchester or a Marlin? Also, 357 Mag or 44Mag? Hard to tell in the picture.

Around here the Marlin is on par with the Rossi, price wise. Usually black friday a few LGS will have the 30-30 marlin for $400ish. For some reason I have no idea why, the 357/44 version is more expensive. Generally Henry is considered the "high" end of lever rifles for us.It’s a Rossi copy of a Winchester. 16” barrel .357. Five shot group, 100 yards: Any challengers?

This is really the only practical answer......SBR?

More of a rhetorical ?This is really the only practical answer......
Honestly when I built that 9mm AR I had to ask the same question about 20 different ways to make sure I wasn't going to accidently be in SBR territory and wind up talking to the nice ATF folks. All my AR platforms are full size but I wanted to try something a little different with the 9mm.More of a rhetorical ?
I see stock, short barrel, pistol grip. So SBR.
I only have a few that are not.![]()
I gotta hear more about whatever the heck that thing is? Looks cool!View attachment 20001
This one's a little hard to sling, but boy, it'll put them in the same hole all day long.
I shoot short-range benchrest. 100-200-300, mostly group shooting but sometimes Score. I actually won the Hunter Nationals two years ago. In benchest we shoot 5 and sometimes 10 shot groups. There are 4 classes in group shooting. Sporter, Light Varmint, Heavy Varmint, and then there is Unlimitied, which is the picture above. Just about anything goes and the class has evolved into mostly "Rail-guns". These are return to battery machines that are usually two piece, around 70lbs. The base has 3 points and the top has v-grooved rails that ride on these points. Kind of like the ways on a lathe. When the gun is fired, it recoils (slides) back on these rails. It is reloaded and pushed forward and it will return to the exact same point of aim.Honestly when I built that 9mm AR I had to ask the same question about 20 different ways to make sure I wasn't going to accidently be in SBR territory and wind up talking to the nice ATF folks. If you’re still rocking a g43 you’re doing it wrong. 43x with shield arms 15 round mags is the way.All your guns are poop. Glock is the way to go. G34 gen 4 duty carry and a G43 for every day.
I like to be able to carry it with basketball shorts without them sagging or leaving a print. It works great. If you’re still rocking a g43 you’re doing it wrong. 43x with shield arms 15 round mags is the way.
