Working on something now.Anyone know of a company that makes a bracket to mount the 12v ARB twin into a cummins truck? I might go this route if i cannot figure out how to make my factory air system work for airing up tires.
Working on something now.
Conservatively 3-4 weeks. Have some thing arriving this week and next to finalize some fitments.Nice.. eta? lol
I like your thinking, I'll look into it starting Monday. Those compressors are savage btw! You need 1.21 gigawatts to run them things!Maybe a universal bracket to mount air between the bed and outer body in back of the cab and in front of the driver's side rear tire. I have a ExtremeAire Magnum waiting to be hung.
Looks really nice. I also have ramboxes, but I want to install it under the bed and not inside the boxes.I hard mounted mine in the Ram box and also hard wired it with Anderson plugs so I can easily detach it if needed.
I was able to use the factory bolts that are already in the ram box and used the drain plug grommet to run the power lines out of the ram box.
Also have parts coming in to add a pressure switch and build a 4 tire inflation kit.

How did you power this compressor? Is it 12v? Also, do you need a good electrician to connect it?
Check out extreme outback..I used their stuff for an AEV JKU and matching trailer, all on BFG 37’s. The compressor makes quick work of inflation. What onboard air system do you have that will fill 37s form 15-45 psi in a reasonable amount of time?
I am really interested in where you mounted your system also. It seems like most mount theirs on the frame rail although I recall seeing one that was mounted under the hood on the passenger side using a custom bracket. Thanks in advance and pictures or links are most appreciated!
Pretty sure that's the same as the Thumper Max Dual Air and some other branded ones (mostly downunder). If you get a good unit they are great. Some reliability issues but at that price you can buy several for the price of an ARB -- as long as it doesn't leave you stranded.I picked up a MAXI TRAC air compressor sold by Napa. I've used ARB compressors for years, but the specs on this thing are impressive. Close to 10CFM, more than double the ARB twin, but also had more than double the amp draw. The ARB does have a few other advantages like being able to unscrew the intake and remote mount it higher to protect from dust and water.
Interesting. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with. I am surprised they are working on one under the driver's seat, though. There is not a lot of room under the driver's seat on a lot of these trucks. I know I can't fit one there. The rear seat might be better. I hope they offer a less complicated single connector version. My system fills two tires at the same time. I haven't had a vehicle that runs the same pressure in the front and the rear tires in many years.I've been talking with Innovative AT Products about developing a version of their ARB dual compressor kit (which they usually do for Jeeps). They've been working on one for a Ram 2500 that would have the compressor sit under the drivers seat, a T-valve with connector at that location, and a line running to a secondary connector under the passenger seat. This will for all 4 tires to deflate and inflate at the same time in an open system (I.e. all air lines/tires are equal pressure). I ran that system on my Gladiator and it was awesome to be able to air up and down all 4 tires at a time with one setup. Only downside: I had to keep the cabin doors open while it was running so the lines didn't get pinched. In good weather that's not an issue, but in very cold or otherwise crappy weather...not so great.
Although the 2500 kit they're working on is again being designed for underseat mount, I've asked them to modify it so that I can mount the compressor/T-vale in the driver's side Rambox and the secondary connector on the other side of the truck. Again, this would allow for all 4 tires to depressurize/pressurize at the same time to the exact same pressure, but the benefit of having the system mounted in the Rambox is that it it's protected, and can be run without having to keep the front cabin doors open. Yes, it will take up some space in the Rambox, but I'm OK with that.
I'll update the thread when it's done.
My mistake - it'll go under the passenger seat (their Jeep kit goes under driver's seat). Also, if you needed to run different pressures, you could simply connect only the two front tires, inflate/deflate as needed, then disconnect the lines and attach them to the rear tires. You don't have to connect all 4 at the same time for the system to run, but you can if desired.Interesting. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with. Are you opposed to mounting under the Driver Side Rear Seat?My mistake - it'll go under the passenger seat (their Jeep kit goes under driver's seat). Personally, I’m trying to keep the system out of the cabin and i the ramboxes. If it’s in the cabin, the doors need to be open during use, which is less than ideal if weather isn’t good. Are you opposed to mounting under the Driver Side Rear Seat?
I see, I misread your comment on the mounting in the Rambox. I haven't been able to get ahold of a Rambox truck yet to do R&D.Personally, I’m trying to keep the system out of the cabin and i the ramboxes. Yeah this is where I mounted my single (actually I’m surprised the twin fits there). If you pull back the carpet there is a plastic body plug…drilled a hole in the plug and put a bulkhead fitting there, t-fitting and ran the air lines out to the front and rear bumpers. Are you opposed to mounting under the Driver Side Rear Seat?
