2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

The Ram Connect was always a subscription - at least on my 2015 Limited - the only difference was they gave you a year free.
As to Opt Out, I am confused - as far as I can tell you dont have to give them a credit card to activate your trial so you would have to opt in and provide credit card info before they could charge you if you wanted to opt out.
And pretty much all the special feature connections beginning with OnStar, SiriusXM, etc. have been paid subscription after a free period (which keeps shrinking) - thats the current business model perpetual money stream in after fixed expense - no significant ongoing costs - just free money. Its not unique to RAM or to cars - look at Microsoft services.
Opt out of getting promotional emails is what I mean. Also as I said previously, BMW has an app called BMW Connect. Does the same stuff as Ram Connect. It’s free. SiriusXM is a FREE one year subscription which every vehicle I’ve purchased since 2006. Ram gives you 6 months now.
They’re nickel and diming us to death.

Does anyone here know of a GMC dealer like Mark Dodge that is good with orders? We rented a Yukon Denali to take a family vacation in and my wife fell in love. We have been putting it off for a while since I ordered an $80k truck but I hear there are more MSRP increases coming and some rate hikes so we figure we better do it now.
Yes I do. Robideaux motors any gmc vehicle you want ordered 300 over invoice. Ordered my Yukon Denali XL from her. 85,500 sticker and my price was 80,300. Ask for Pam, tell her Nate sent you. Text her work cell, if you call it then it will go to dealership main line but text she can respond to directly +1 (208) 547-6012, also email [email protected]. You won’t be sorry. They are in Idaho but they’re the only dealership giving invoice pricing to normal folks. She is awesome to deal with. A lot like Sandi with competence and kindness.

Place your orders Ladies and Gentlemen - cost has no where to go but UP.

Raw Materials UP, Parts UP, Labor UP, Fuel UP, Transportation UP, Wages up (joke?): - 7% Inflation. (7% of $80k is $5600)
MD told me that i am sold order price protected. Meaning unless i tried to change my order, my sale price will remain the same as agreed upon at the time of order.
I assume all orders already on the books at any dealer are this way?

For my understanding...
What are "usable desirable features of the Ram Connect"?

I mean unless it explicitly has to do with the vehicle itself, I use my phone and CarPlay apps.
Never saw a unique value proposition in UConnect myself that I couldn't get for free on my phone.
Are there features therein that I am unaware of?
The ones I would use are the ability to send navigation instructions from maps or something to the vehicle, unlock and lock doors, ventilation and heat of vehicle, honk horn and flash lights and vehicle locate. All are helpful to me but not sure if it’s worth $70/year. I’ve used all those features with my BMW.
If I could get it free on my phone that’d be awesome.

Here is some interior shots. In some places the sun is shining on the leather and some places it isn't. If anything the interior may be slightly darker than the photos. Needless to say the interior is not Black. Charcoal Grey is a more accurate description. Talking about false advertising... The photos were taken with a iPhone 12 Pro Max.View attachment 30312View attachment 30313View attachment 30314View attachment 30315View attachment 30316View attachment 30318View attachment 30319

I seriously think you should have waited to post those pictures till after I got mine. That was mean. I expected more from you.

I really didn't expect to get mine so soon. Sorry. I saw one like you're getting, being cleaned at the dealer today for it's new owner.

That’s awesome congratulations.
While you are taking pictures would you mind snapping one of the backseat with the seatbelt orientation? The random thought just hit me and I’m wondering if my son will be able to finally get out of his booster seat. My Silverado has really high seatbelts so he has to stay in his booster to keep the belt off his neck.
Hope this is what you were looking for

Dealer hit me up with deal for Simoniz ceramic + upholstery protection and Final Coat corrosive protection package for $2000. I would be looking to do rust proofing and ceramic aside from this offer and honestly haven’t had a chance to do my homework but this seems like a pretty fair deal. Thoughts? Seems aftermarket ceramic is $2000+ on its own? Just not sure about the electromagnetic corrosion thingy. Is Zebart the way to go? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you!

I've got mine scheduled for Ceramic coating from a local shop. Normal $1600, gave me 25% discount so it will be $1200. Quoted $800 for underbody and cavity from another dealer. Hope to talk him into a discount by buying my retractable tonneau from him at the same time.

In Colorado I’ve been getting quotes for ceramic coating and graphene coating. Seems the reputable places are about $1500 for 5-7 years. Highest I got was $1900 for the 9 year coating on all surfaces. Includes all the paint correction and detailing.

On the long way home from Louisiana to Washington Regular Cab long box Hemi getting close to 19 very respectable the 6.4 and 8 speed are a great marriage
Not bad. What rear end gear are you running? Right now I'm only getting 16.5 with my HO and 4:10 gears. I'm thinking it will improve a little when I get a few milesn on it.
