2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Yep and give no info why they built truck M but didn’t built truck A and leave it behind for absolutely no reason. Sorry to be negative but when you see mega cab in any trim then HO in any trim also the options you ordered and your skipped and 3 months before that it’s very frustrating to say the least. I’m happy for the lucky people getting their trucks in 2-3 months but ram really should put some priority into the older orders because I still see some older then mine and I don’t like that either. And then when you see a truck to a T the truck you ordered on a dealer lot there goes the sold order priority that ram reps blow smoke up the dealers a$$ and then they blow it up our a$$ the proof is in the dealer lots. I’ve looked at dealer lots all around me up to 4 hours and there is several I’ve seen similar to my order with vins starting 180 or 190 but why wasn’t John Doughs truck built that is 110 or in my case the 176 and I buy a twin in 2500 with 169274
Maybe the plant managers wife or daughter got around and when he sees the name of someone who slept with her he says their not getting a truck.

Night edition on Laramie’s became available once again on December 9. I was told by Renae at Mark dodge that my order placed on December 28 would have power fold mirrors, night edition, and 360 cameras. The only thing that I will not be able to get that I did want is Blindspot monitoring. Everything else I’m able to get

Was told the same thing. Power fold mirrors are a standard feature on Laramie and Limited. code LER. Power fold mirrors are also listed on the Level B group and the NE group on the ram website when building, but they are not listed on the Level B group or NE equipment lists that I was sent in PDF form when I created my build and placed order. I assume not listed in on the PDF's because they are standard features on the Laramie again...?

There are many selectable options that could create a potential hold-up. The options that I've seen mentioned most in this thread as hold-up causers are sunroof, BSM, surround view cameras and safety or tow tech groups. I do not have any of those. But I imagine that since I did select NE, power running boards and tow-mode camera with digital rev view mirror those could be hold-ups themselves.

All in all, it could be any one single thing. It should go without saying, that the more you add on, the more potential pieces you'll have that could cause a hold up. Hell, they could have 4 out of the 5 clearance lamps on hand for your truck, but to get the next shipment of 20,000 lamps might take a month or more and your truck could be held up a single little lamp. That's the risk we are taking and waiting on and drooling over now. All speculation on my part. Just patiently waiting.

Ordered 2022 Big Horn Hemi 11/22 hit Mark Dodge today for pickup next week, yes the struggle is real… Thanks to Officer Dirty, BV 10 and Scubaz66 for the checklist, great forum leadership and participants. Thuren 1/2 inch lower springs, stabilizers and shocks will be added as well as 285’s once the Grey Ghost makes it back to the Salmon, Crabbing and Oyster seashore of her home in Washington.

Cheers!

I hope you got your truck already...... This Forum is monitored by RAM, FCA and personal who work for the assembly plant.......
You know I, with respect, am calling bs on this statement. Please share how you obtained reference to establish your statement from just conjecture.
A few insiders here obviously work for Stellantis and have no problem helping us with our questions but they are here out of their own volition and inherent goodness of their hearts it seems, not as a part of their job description.
I feel if Stellantis and especially the folks at the Saltillo plant really followed the forum they’d take measures to make the buying experience better and also our progress monitoring of our builds similar to the way they did it when I ordered my jeep in 2013 or use a system similar to BMW. It’s really doubtful because the system they’re using, at least to my way of thinking, is mind boggling stupid. Actually there’s many things they’d learn, for instance not losing so many key fobs! Or the horn chirping 3 times. Plus I feel they would be able to really make Ram Crap effective and that would probably really help their employees who probably often have to deal with irate customers.

Hopefully they can take a joke. Was just trying to bring humor to those who have been waiting forever.
You’re good brother, I think we all know you were using humor.
I think some folks are more, how should I say, liberal in their thinking, then others. Maybe sensitive is a better word.
And Stellantis is probably not at all worried about the frustrations of their customers. They sell vehicles all over the world in huge numbers. Stellantis owns a boat load of auto manufacturers. Chrysler and Maserati being a couple I know of off the top of my head.

14 car brands of cars, several subsidiaries and unrelated products and services. And hey they would probably care if you could organize about 20% of their customer base into the same frustrations… but alas we are each only a single solitary order that they could not care less about.

Everyone has their opinions sir and I'm not knocking yours anymore than I did the original poster. But one thing I've learned in my Christian Life is to respect people regardless of their opinions. I've learned to take care of those who take care of others. I too don't see why RamChat, FCA, Stellantis or the Saltillo Assemble Plant, etc is ran the way it is, but I'm sure all sections of this process are being ran as efficiently as possible given today's standards and the shortage of products needed to complete the builds. I believe most any business can be improved upon regardless if it's McDonald's across the street or something an enormous as FCA and its secondary infrastructure. It has to do with people themselves. For instance, I contacted FCAAffiliates via phone yesterday and the first person I spoke with was an outstanding Customer Service Rep. Unfortunantely she had to forward my problem to another person in another department. Guess What??? I was totally disrespected and treated like a second class citizen. I too have contacted Ram Chat and received conflicting information, But do you see me blaming the President, CEO, ect? Again! Everyone has an opinion, I'll keep my Christian Opinion. Regards

Still no truck for me....... dealer won’t even try and track it down. Getting real fed up with this
Sounds like at least partly a Dealer issue if they wont even try to get info - wondering if Dealer did something to mess it up priority wise - Mark Dodge doesn't seem to have those issues, but maybe they are on Santa's good list (volume = priority?).

I agree totally with what you said. 20% of their base customers has to be huge numbers but less then several hundred of us here on just this one forum. We’re nothing.
