What did you do TO your RAM today?

Ouch guy….
Don't feel too bad. A few days after placing my order, I saw your truck on the forums. I never would have thought the bronze would go as well as it does on the Delmonico.

My god Baja designs foreign hardware SUCKS! You get 2-3 threads past where the Nylock engages and the bolts completely lock up so tight they just break before even getting them tight. I used hand tools no impact type tool. I figured maybe I had one bad one but the second did the same thing.

Thankfully I had some stainless hardware in my collection so I didn’t have to make a trip to the hardware store.

Don’t worry. I had small issues with them today too. Was doing the squadron fogs and OnX6 20” light bar. Had 3 washers that were too small, one was the correct size.

Had a girlfriend back in the day that made mine look like that ……what a gal.o_O

Installed my Diode dynamics fogs today (ss3 pro). Was a super easy swap since it was all plug and play. They are MUCH brighter than stock and look better IMHO.

Stainless on stainless hardware? That’s no bueno. Gall city. You can try anti-seize and tighten slowly.

Do you happen to have a link to that kit? I’m struggling to find it on their website. Interneting is hard…..

edit: Nevermind. I found them. The “non-LED“ in the description threw me off.

I replaced it with stainless hardware with no issues. My boat has hundreds of stainless on stainless fasteners with no issue, no anti seize. It’s not a material issue it’s a QC issue.
