Got another update this morning it’s KZM and in Encantada CU.
 
I recently received information regarding my estimated ship date.
I ordered the truck from MD on 10/15/21,
and my estimated ship date is currently shown to be: 1/30/22.
Fingers crossed that this date remains remotely accurate.

The POC indicates an estimated ship date, but does not indicate an estimated build date.
Are you guys getting your estimated build date from ramchat, dealer, or daily checks for a build sheet?

All you can do sometimes is shake your head and laugh! Talked to Ram and they say to talk to dealer for updates. I talk to my dealer and they say all FCA dealer reps are out till 1/3 and they can’t get any updates…. I did however get an email from a US Customer Care specialist giving me the same status that Ram has been giving me for three weeks! LMAO!

Sent brv10 a message and found out in 10 minutes that the truck is JS waiting on QC. He’s the man!

Your estimated ship date on your POC is usually a build date. They will build it that same day and if everything goes well, they’ll inspect it and release it.
Ship date doesn’t mean shipped because after it’s built, sometimes they sit on a lot for weeks to fill up a train. At that point Truck is in shipping stage but not shipped.

Hello Everyone, I'm new to the group. So I placed an order for a 2500 in late Nov and I received my VIN December 15 from US Customer Care. Can you share how/where I can check the status of the order?

Contact RamChat or your dealer for information. Because you ordered about a month ago, I’m guessing you’re in D.
I’d start with RamChat to see their response. If it’s gathering parts, leave your dealer alone. Once you see RamChat tell you parts have been gathered, then contact your dealer for updated POC. It’ll have a date for build/shipping.

Once yours got built it moved right along.

Truck arrived at the dealership!

Ordered 7/29, built on 12/13 and on the rail car 12/14. Arrived today.

Credit application completed and waiting to get the paperwork squared away and funds sent.

I should be right behind you, our trucks were likely on the same train on 12/14, my plan is to fly in next Thursday wish me luck! Hopefully you were able to use TrueCar $500 coupon for 2021, hoping it gets renewed for 2022….
 
Checked with my dealer today, he tells me truck is on Train #2 headed North, ETA to dealer 1/15.
I also questioned him about the $2500 hike in MSRP I saw on my window sticker vs the order confirmation sheet I got the day I ordered and he told me original price should be protected as long as I take delivery within 2 weeks of it landing at the dealership.
This is all good news, especially as I got to drive my Toyota hatchback thru some snow yesterday yikes

Right there with ya. Got the email this morning and waiting on finance to call me. Hoping to get it all squared away before the 1st; ideally fly out there on Friday.

Yeah, I hear ya. The Penn Fed coupon I activated this morning says it expires on 1/3/22 .... and when I looked up the RAM first responder discount ($500) that also expires on 1/3/22. So I need to get everything done and money transferred by 1/3/22.

Where is your truck destined for? I'm SW Florida.
 
well... lost my interest rate lock today. Still no movement on my truck.
Ram Chat basically said" we will let you know if something changes", but just moved the goal post for delivery again.
