In the trade when doing alignments we call that slope road crown. Not much you can do about it unless you want to split the difference when doing the adjustments and even then the road crown angle can vary from interstate to interstate as far as the amount. Occasionally I got complaints and after I explained the road crown to them the customer was Ok with it. The ones that drove the interstate a lot and it bothered them, I would just split the difference to make it look half as much as it was so it looked the same whether they were driving on a road with a crown or without. In areas that get a lot of rain you are more likely to see a more radical road crown.

Here's a 2022 2500 Laramie w/ Hemi, (hence the shifter dial), with the 8.4" Nav screen and aux switches as shown on the Ram website when building. I agree, AUX switches will be nice because they remove the toggles if anything. Less stuff "sticking out."

It bothers some and others never notice. I just learned to live with it. Back when I was doing alignments I had a Ford Lightning that I was always experimenting with the front end alignment settings to get better tire wear. The factory settings were ideal for the track for cornering but terrible for every day driving on the street.

@Sauksxs vin is 3C63RRRLSNG192661. The only reason I know is that he is 4 lines above me and 44 earlier serial number. He is also close to my build style, so I hope we both get our Limited HO;s right after each other.

Good to know. That configuration won't pull up for me. Maybe I need to try a different browser. I tried to add the Aux Switches and BSM about three weeks after my 6.21 order, because i realized that BSM wasn't included in the Safely Group B package and was told no on both. So many obscure differences, like the 8.4 Screen bezel being a flat finish and the 8.4 Nav screen bezel having a gloss finish like the 12".

If you have your VON, reach out to RAM Chat and they will get you your VIN. Or, you can reach out to your dealer for it. Your VIN should easily come within a week of your order. Often times, a day or two once your order is placed / accepted.

Here’s my last post related to the order/delivery of my truck.

Arrived at dealer Dec 20

I waited a few days short of 6 months for the truck. The wait is very frustrating, but it’s worth it to get exactly what you want.

This is my first diesel truck and first truck in 30 years. Throttle response and linear acceleration is impressive, even with standard output diesel. Drives great, very quit inside, high quality feel inside and out. Here’s a few photos.

We chatted with Ram chat and they said there’s no VIN assigned yet but it passed the order audit phase. Hopefully it gets built in 2022. Not holding my breath though. Seems a chip shortage is the problem for anything with electronics in it.
