2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

So after much thought and several messages from the good folks on this forum I think I’ll just stick with my original build. I’m at $2k under MSRP currently. Judging by what I’ve been told maybe I could get it to about $6k or so under MSRP through MD. $4k difference minus my time, travel expenses, and 2000 miles on the new truck I’d maybe be saving $2k. Thanks to Grizzly Dave, Thebuilderman, and 223500DRW for your insight.
I think this is the right choice. I ordered from a local dealer in Denver that gave me about 4% off MSRP. However, they gave me a great number on my trade in, I’ll have the tax offset from that, and no hassle with getting my truck from out of state. I have done that when it made sense on RV’s, but for the truck the difference is negligible. So far my dealer has been great, and I’m comfortable with my deal. The most important thing to remember, is the new truck feeling!!

Just out of curiosity since I am local. Who did you order from and were you able to get any kind f deal? Back when I ordered in July I couldn't find anyone willing to go under msrp
no real deal for me either. The dealer discounted the order for me because of an issue that happened with another purchase I made through them prior. Other than that, they are all selling at MSRP around my area.

Where in VA are you? I’m up in Fredericksburg and also ordered from MD. Very interested to hear how the delivery goes and the trip home.

My old stomping grounds. Man do I not miss that place.

Haven’t been keeping tabs on who posted, but if a visitor came in and read the last 20 pages, they might think this could possibly be a Pacifica forum/thread.

Nowadays, if you gag your kids you go to jail for child abuse. When mine were growing up and in the car I was told that Benadryl had helped others. I can neither confirm or deny any such actions.o_O
I take that to mean you gagged the kids...

My mom had a shoe. It worked too.
I never created kids. My wife however made 4 girls, I imported them from the Philippines. They’re actually quiet except for when they’re home. Then it’s a house full of females. My poor house will never be the same. Thankfully I’m a builder and I’ll remodel and repair when they’re gone.

Ahh ok, I was wondering if I made the drive to MD for nothing. Sucks no one around here is willing to deal. I hope you didn't buy from Westgate. They have terrible service. They all said there was no way i was going to get the deal MD gave me. If ya need any alpha obd or witch access let me know. I work in Raleigh, Durham, Fuquay area.

Yep, my dealership will fix it, no matter what it is ....... for $150/hr + parts+markup ++++++
I ordered my truck for basically invoice using Chrysler Affiliate program. I’m happy with that . Im sure I could have got it cheaper with one of the dealership on this forum but the time and travel would have eat that up. There’s also that little unwritten service rule of take it back we’re you bought it they will fix it.
Yeah, sorry, not here in Castle Rock, I think they hire anybody with a wrench and then I get to pay out the nose and our old service advisor used to tell me some stuff that needed to be done that didn’t need anything at all. Thankfully I caught him.

A Free set of tires at MSRP is not FREE - its a 1200 discount off MSRP.
That's a very possibility however, it could also be a Tire Maintenance Plan where you pay upfront for 4 Tires then should something happen to one it will be replaced free of charge. You can't just go get 4 new tires with this plan and it's very seldom anyone actually uses the plan to the tune of 4 new tires over the life of the vehicle. The strange thing is, the member cannot explain excately how he managed to get 4 free tires so he too may be unaware of what he actually got in the deal.

I’m in. If you can get the info I’d like to contribute or send something personally.
Maybe both of them have a Paypal Friends and Family account? All we need is their PayPal email so we can send money to their accounts. This way the money goes straight to them. Hey BVR10 and OfficerDirtySanchez care to provide this information?

I was just informed that a miracle may have occurred in Mexico by our awesome informant!
12/21 at 2:43am your truck rolled out of the plant on its own, JSLD.
Yo baby.
Daddy’s gonna get a new truck sooooon. Okay, maybe not sooooon. But eventually I’m gonna have me a new truck and hopefully two key fobs to go with it.
Getting my tires and wheels immediately. My bumpers should be here in January too. Gonna get a Sherpa 17k winch and have my Rigid Industries lights and probably gonna do a Carli leveling kit.

I don’t know how to attach the dancing skeleton like @Lee Iacocca does but you guys can get the drift!

Ram Chat was able to give an ETA this morning so mine must have left the factory. 1/4-1/17. Was hoping for a RAM Christmas but looks like a RAM new year. Maybe there will be some new incentives.

I could! I got it! PM me. I’m working on getting ODS’s email now. But I have BRV1’s.

There are incentives! You’re incentivized to get some mods going for the Ram! To get some planning on the trip your gonna take when you get your truck OR, depending on where you got it, a trip to get it! Maybe even get a chance to pay escalated fuel prices! Yey.
I had a Jeep. Stood for Just Empty Every Pocket. It was very true. Now we need a slogan for the new Ram.

I’ve got a few things already in the basement waiting as well as a Leer 100xq waiting at the local cap dealer. I’m ready. And I’ve had 3 Jeeps so I completely understand that. Last one was a well build Rubicon on 37’s.

Went to dealer yesterday to handle the paperwork side of the purchase. Was supposed to take truck and bring back for bumper replacements. Got a call in the AM to
tell me couldn’t take truck because bumpers were already removed. Wonderful here comes another delay (was supposed to be in SC Dec 1). Went to see truck…which was nice because able to inspect behind bumpers for any additional damage….there wasn’t any! Bumpers were in and they are painting them today. So should have it wed/Thursday. Got an email from my RAM rep after my flip out on them for having it in rail yard with no ETD apologizing and wanting to give me a couple free oil changes. Oh no lady, after all this and damaged….you’re gonna have to come up way better than that. But I’ll take the oil changes. Lol.

I know a lot of Members are getting ready to take delivery of their new trucks in the next few weeks. Have any of you taken the time to prepare yourself for delivery once you arrive at the dealership? You're going to be like a kid with a free pass to the cookie jar and so excited you will probably forget many of the things you planned to check or questions you wanted to ask the dealer. Over the past 4 months I have put together a Checklist I plan to carry with me during the retrieval of my new truck. This will assure I leave no stone unturned. I've already provided this list to many of the members on his Forum, but for many of the new Members or anyone who missed my original post, if you will let me know I will provide you my list. Cheers! This is particularly important for those members who are flying or driving long distances to retrieve their truck. It will help you to concentrate on the important factors regarding your purchase before you leave the dealership!
