2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I got 1.89 for 63 months through USAA. It went up to just over 2.00 if you went to 72 months and over 3.00 for 84. Im gonna pay it off in less than a year so made sense to just take the lowest rate.

Dealer said they could not match the 1.89.

Also said they could not match Ziegler warranty quote. We’ll see when we get there.

I’m way out from considering financing at this point, but I do use USAA normally. I have considered using Navy Federal and just stretching it out to their 96 mo loan. I guess it’s always time to play with numbers to find what’s best.

I’ve seen posts on warranties too, is Ziegler the one to go with?

I’m tired from driving and don’t want to read to see if there is an answer yet. Its a combination of fees, taxes, etc. here are the ones for my truck. They’ll get this to you at signing. There is more to the right that shows all the totals. At “closing” they add the registration/taxes to the purchase. They also bump the doc fee from 225 to 425.
I found Thomas to be pretty straightforward with answers. I had the same question for him, you’ll see that in the attachment.

That was properly tax. I didn’t know they collected that. Aaron said they will adjust the paperwork and we’ll proceed without this property tax. I’m transferring a tag that is still good for another 4 months. Don’t have to pay properly tax until then.
Sales tax in SC is only $500 so that is correct on the paperwork.

I’ve never taken the time to be honest, but this sounds like a great thing to do if I’m retired and making a trip to Louisiana out of this.

What is up with Mark Dodge? I keep seeing mention of that dealership (LA right?)

Place an order for a 3500 last week locally in Central TX.
Felt like a fool, may be one idk, but dealers I have worked with (3 diff dealerships) would not budge on MSRP, got $1k off...
Did I fail there? Looking for some feedback/ recommendations.

I hate to say it, but yes. Mark Dodge has been consistent around 11% off MSRP for most, at least that’s what I got back in November, and my mom (Lampassas) has been quoted as well.

There are several dealers mentioned on this forum will do 4%-5% below invoice price w/o even having to haggle over it. Mark Dodge is one, Granger is another, and I believe there is one in KY.

You can try and get your money back and place an order with Sandi or Renae at MD.

Msrp increase, whos responsible?
So i ordered 9/17 and my truck is supposed to be in today but apparently my msrp when up 1000 dollars more then the original price we agreed apon and they are telling me that im responsible and they wont move on the issue. Who has gotten around this? Think contacting ram themselves would do any good? Its more of the idea of it what bothers me, we agreed on a price... this is also 160k that i have spent at this dealership in a year and a half and there going to screw with me over a grand

My 3rd radio update in 3 weeks.

I ordered 9/13 and later MSRP at time of actual purchase (and POC sheet printout) also showed higher prices by about $1000 - but dealer never mentioned it and deal was as originally quoted no increase.

But I did see on bottom of some of the more recent POC sheets a disclaimer about price increases. Based on my experience and the proximity to your order date, I think its most likely the original POC would be firm (after all its a Priced Order Confirmation), particularly if you have one that says D or D1 code as opposed to the B codes before order is set or if you have a POC with no disclaimer at bottom.

And if you put a deposit down based on a price quote, I would think you would have the right to cancel and get deposit back, particularly if dealer did not notify you when price increased (late October?), but I can not answer your question as to who gets stuck (if anyone) with increase after order is placed. But in my personal experience, I did not pay the higher price. Hope that helps.

I live in central TX, too, but went with Mark Dodge as they by far had best deal and were so easy to deal with.

It’s a 5 hr drive, one way, or they can bring the truck to you, up to 250 miles. That would be about Giddings on 290. I chose to drive over and trade in my 06 to them.

This post has their contact info.

Was going to say that too, but I’m sure he didn’t want to hear it.

Agree - or get quote from Mark Dodge and see if they will match or come down to an acceptable number - rather than restart clock on ordering. You dont have to place order with MD to get quote
