That was actually one of my fears as well when I went into it. I was always tempted to ask my salesman if was ever gonna quit within my purchase.

Although not my first new car purchase, it was the first new order that I have ever done and actually I dumped my first dealer cause they had ordered something I didnt want and told them to cancel it and start over within 2 days and they said they couldn't so I told them see ya! It was funny cause that salesman emailed me and told me that that truck had arrived and if I was still interested. They sold it within a week..

Did you work with Charles from the beginning? I also have a Mark Dodge order that has been delivered to the rail yard in Port Allen but Sandi said that she will no longer be able to provide updates since it has arrived to the rail yard. I am really hoping it is delivered before Christmas. Pretty hard to plan a 1,600 miles road trip around Christmas and be back to work on the 3rd.
 
Any Canadians in here? How long your Canadian order take? Will Ram email you a vin in Canada when they have it like they do with USA customers? Ordered 22 2500 limited mega cab, air, level 1, anti spin, clearance lights, skid plate, night edition. This will be my second 5th gen 2500

You should be at or extremely close to shipping at this point. Once the window sticker populates it’s reached a point where it’s either already on its way, or getting ready to leave the plant. They’ll get it loaded on a rail car, and once there are enough completed trucks, the train will leave. Now it’s up to the transport companies to get it to your dealer

It is with sincere sympathy for those who have been waiting much longer than I have that I report what Ram Chat told me just now....

Thank you for waiting, I can see here your vehicle was delivered to your dealership today! I would suggest contacting your selling dealership.

@OfficerDirtySanchez mark me KZX as of today, but please hold off turning me green until I pick it up, thanks.

My salesdude is off on Tuesdays, so haven't heard from him yet, no matter, gonna take a day or two to coordinate schedules with the wife to go pick it up anyway.

Another record breaking transport deliver, 3 days 12 hours completed in 4 hours, east bound and down loaded up and......

Charles is the point of contact for central dispatch Mark Dodge uses. Unless you are having your truck shipped you won't deal with Charles.

SandiCharles. The same about no updates once it arrived at the port. Sadly they have no control over when trucks leave the port. To my knowledge they have all been with in the 3 week window so far.

Once your truck arrives at the dealership, you will get contacted by Aaron. He is typically who you deal with once the truck is at rhe dealership.

And just 46 days from order to arrival at the dealer if I'm counting right, I'm blown away. When I ordered I was fully expecting it would be February, maybe March before I got my truck. I guess for a change all the stars aligned right for me.

I tried Ram Chat again, cuz I'm a masochist. I got the same message I've gotten since 11/28. The respose is "You truck is in shipping and the estimated time of arrival is (today's date + 14 days)". Boo.
