2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Renae from Mark Dodge wrote on 12/3/21
Good Morning Ty,
I hope you had a wonderful Thankgiving. I just wanted to give you an update and let you know that we have a build date assigned for your truck of 12/20. Check back with me about a week after that to see if we have a rail assignment!
Regards,
Renae
Apparently that means D1 however as you can see she didn’t give me the build code.

Ram Crap is worthless. They told me parts were gathered. So I wrote Stellantis.
When Stellantis sent me the response to my email this morning they said parts were BEING gathered. Today out of overwhelming curiosity and maybe a wee bit of frustration, I called Stellantis and spoke with Athena, she confirmed I was in D1.
Hopefully my build date stays accurate as that’s next week! Starting to feel like I’ll get my truck before pigs fly and we start driving space ships to work. Then I’m going to order a 4 wheel drive diesel space ship.

Well, no build sheet or window sticker. Today was my 2nd ship date. Did get that email about welcome you have a new truck from Ram yesterday or Sat. I leave for Mexico tomorrow for vacation tomorrow. Had my fingers crossed for having a truck when I got back from my trip. Sucks to see that so many people that ordered after me have already got their truck in. But I feel for the people that are in the position that was ordered before me.

I am going to try not to think about it while I am on vacation or check this site (unlikely), maybe the Cerveza, Don Julio 1942, and looking at girls at the pool will help.

Dropped off my white 2019 Ram 2500 Bighorn and picked up my billet silver 2022 Ram 3500 Bighorn on Thursday at Mark Dodge, What a bunch of great people at this dealership and very respectful. I got there after driving 1300 miles in 23 hours and all I had to do is sign 3 pieces of paperwork and was handed the keys for the new 2022 truck and they didn't even look at my trade. On Monday my certificate of origin for a vehicle showed up today so I could go get my title for the 2022. Driving home I had to stay an extra day in St Louis area to avoid the tornados going thru that area and back home they were getting 10" of snow and did not want to drive thru that.

Aaron, Thomas and Chris at Mark dodge were top notch, there was another person there that helped me with my UC5 radio issue that I forgot his name was very helpful as well. They had about 40 trucks sitting there waiting for customers to come pick up there ordered trucks. I also meet another member from the forum that was picking up his Longhorn as well after I signed my paperwork.

Here's the pic if it didn't happen people.

If you are counting Equipment Lists, we are still short 21 of the pre-August orders (2 May, 9 June, 10 July) - and my sympathies to all those as well as others who have been passed by for no known reason - but they have made good progress in the last month or so - 95% of the 58 May orders and 95% of the 138 June Orders and 94% of the 162 July orders now have Equipment Lists. Heres wishing for rapid movement of the early orders to quick delivery.

Ram chat confirmed today that they have all of my parts, but could not offer me a build date. Keep me updated on your status, I am assuming that that my truck will arrive at Mark when yours does.

We had a similar experience last week. Best car buying experience I have ever had (and I'm 59).

Just wanted to update everyone on here. Big horn 3500 finally arrived to Kernersville NC. Saw it tonight and will be taking it home tomorrow afternoon. First time buying a truck of this caliber so lots to learn. First impressions were really good. I got the truck for towing my race cars around the country and taking me to work.

Joined this forum around page 136 of this thread, and now it’s almost to a 1000 pages haha. Through all the complaining and waiting, it was definitely worth it.

Beautiful truck. I’m hoping they get mine there before Christmas .

Just got an email “welcoming” me to the RAM community. Well, thank you, but I’ve been driving a Ram since 2004…oh oh oh, you mean a NEW Ram…

We ordered just over a month ago, is there any correlation with a status update on my order?

I think I just got the email you were speaking of today.
