2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Woo hoo! My salesman has contacted me twice in as many days to tell me my Rail Ramp ETA has moved up from 12/9 to 12/8 and now 12/7. He does caution it could still take 7-10 days to transport from rail yard to dealership BUT every day it feels a little bit closer. Man, I feel like a kid waiting on Christmas.

For those of you ordering your trucks, I would recommend NOT purchasing the factory bed step and instead purchasing an aftermarket one from Amp Research. Based on other members posts here, this Amp step is much larger and gives you a much better step to access the tailgate and bed. It functions the same way as the factory ram step. It is not power, but manual fold away. If you need more info let me know. This one is for a 19-21 model year ram HD. Amp didn’t list a 22 yet, however with a minor modification this one worked fine (see pic with red circle)

Someone else said similar to me in a private message about my Patriot Blue Longhorn. I have to tell you, it's a fabulous machine to see in real life. I've already had a couple folks walk up to me to comment on it. It's got over 400 miles on it, I try not to drive it unless it's got a trailer behind it.

I found a local guy who will put clear paint film on my dually hips for $800, and Dec 16th I am taking it for Krown rustproof treatment (much to the chagrin of some here) to hopefully add a few years before the besides blow open, the cab corners and rockers disintegrate and the door bottom pinch seams crumble apart.

I'll do my own annual paint correction and ceramic coating.

I attached photos of what the paint protection film guy is going to cover for me. He wants to charge$800 and include a detail and prep... I really do not want him touching my paint to detail it. I'm going to discuss further with him about doing only what I ask and touch nothing else.

I think that private message your referring to was also from me! Yeah $800 for the film, correction and detail is a good deal.
your truck is unreal awesome looking and you shouldn’t be driving it or you’ll cause accidents and whiplash. Especially with the little kids in the mommy mobiles.
How do you like the Kabota? I’m thinking either that or the John Deer.

I was worried about the same thing. I did get the step anyway and figure if it sucks for me I’ll sell it but now that I see yours I want 2! Can you give me the info?

She’s still here, after months and months of waiting I don’t think anybody can blame me for driving by every hour the last seven hours! Benefits of having a dealer 1.2 miles from your house.

I’m with you - I’d be driving by twice a day.

Great to see a fellow June ordered receive their truck. It looks absolutely gorgeous!

The dealer said I can get my truck in an hour. I've been waiting 19 weeks and 4 days since I ordered. This is the worst hour in that whole time! 2022 Ram 3500 Laramie diesel crew cab long bed dually with 12" screen, safety B, 50 gallon tank, Delmonico red.

Okay... Polar opposite here. I have a 2015 semi 6.4... I tow almost every day for work, and should have gotten the diesel... I'm tired of paying the highest price for gas and not having any power when anything is behind me! What's this about it being cold in the mornings? I thought all the diesels came with supplemental heaters? Looking forward to more power, cheaper gas, and dropping my gas engine...
Diesel out west is running $4.00+ right now, now sure where you are at...
