2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Maybe someone else here will correct me, but I don't know anyone in here that was able to make changes but a few have tried. I am CRUSHED that my salesman didn't check the Alpine system on my order and I didn't catch it. Tried to get it added but kept being told it was too late.
I was successful in adding a week after order still in early stages but it took a week to go thru Regional Sales Rep to get confirmation

So you’re swapping out rims. Any ideas on keeping my 20” NE rims and getting a bit taller/ filling the wheel well space?

Just looking for rubber tweaks… TIA…

Yes swapping. I want the increased load capacity of those rims and tires. Can’t find a 20 inch tire that increases the load capacity. And the stock 20 inch have something like +54 offsets. Going to the stock 18 or after market gets you to a +18. I’m a fan of more rubber and not more rim. If I could have got the night package without the night rims I would have.

Way dirty from the rain but here she is! Delivery 1 Dec, first rainfall 1 Dec :(
That's a nice lookin" ride. Looks like it sets level from the factory as the pictures don't show much of a rake. What's the ground clearance at the center of the drivers door?

That's awesome. I mean, it sure didn't seem like a big deal to make changes but me and some other guys were told you can't. I kinda always wondered if my salesman was just being lazy.
Yeah it all just depends on what and when. If you catch it early enough (prior to D1) and they still think they can source what you’re asking for, they’ll probably accept the change.

Well.... I think I've had enough with this post. Picked my truck up Friday, spent the weekend playing with all the bells and whistles plus installing my Amp running boards, bed step, mudflaps and wheels/tires.
So far so good! Good luck everyone...hope you long timers get your stuff ASAP. I'll be headed to the rest of the forum now..

Enjoy!!!!

If you don’t mind me asking how much you paid? Infotainment has the whole set for the like $1500 ish I believe? Didn’t know if it was worth sourcing the parts or just buying the set
Infotainment BSM kit is starting at $2700. You can do it much cheaper sourcing parts yourself. Check into this thread-

Expected delivery by 12/5, the anticipation is killing me!!

mine is supposed to either be there later today, which salesman said doesn’t give them enough time to get it ready, or early tomorrow which doesn’t work so well for me or the wife’s schedule. Definitely understand because the anticipation is killing me also!

I got denied changing to a sport 3 weeks after ordering. So my dealer just ordered me another truck.
