2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

@OfficerDirtySanchez
Window sticker popped up this morning for sheet update, looks like they are building some MC Laramie Diesels! Ordered just in time for the folding mirrors too! Also, no recalls noted so far so hopefully anything coming out now has the new GH relay?
Now for the final wait on shipping and dealer arrival which may very well be the toughest part knowing it actually exists.....

FYI Cryptostickers identified my Build Sheet popped today as well. VIN#3C6UR5DJ9NG178278 You are Welcomed to update your spreadsheet.

Mine is currently in JB, is it possible it will make my projected fictional shipping date of 12/1? Yeah, possible, but I don't think probable.

Is it possible that my dream of picking up my truck on Christmas eve wearing a santa hat will come true? Possible, but again I don't think probable.

I do feel bad for those who have been waiting so very much longer than me, but who am I to argue with the Ram scheduling?

I mean, I have figured it's based on parts availability, logistics of filling trains, engine type, trim type, color, etc etc etc, but in the end, just dang dumb pure luck.

And with that, I should turn in, so I can wake up and check Ram Chat once again in the morning!!!!
Wow! JB! I think that is great! So far 1 month for since your order. That bodes well for all of us. I’m still in D land. Where’s your dealer?

Dealer told me 12-16 weeks when I ordered in Sept, it made it in 10 weeks - Anything currently 4 months and older is counting time before 2022 production started in early August. Granted all those pre August orders are now approaching 4 months since start of production and should have been completed and delivered by now, but they are whitling away - there were 19 May orders without Equipment Lists (not built) at the beginning of last week and its now down to 12. There is hope.
This is a redundant portion of a post from Crowdsourced VIN page, dealing only with Equipment Lists (built trucks), but I thought it would be of interest here as it relates to progress.

Being a data guy, I do love these summaries that you put together. I'm still hoping to boost up those May numbers though!

Love all this tracking and info sharing in this community. Can I assume that I just watch what I can, check the fca search for a build sheet every day or possibly MD will even e-mail me when I exit D status? And at that time I simply pass the info on to OfficerDirtySanchez.

Just a few questions:
What time of day are updates coming. Is it a 24/7 flow of automated information? Or is it a once a day thing? Twice a day?

The tracking sheet is incredible! But let's try to get an idea from anyone in the know; it currently has 665 trucks with full VIN's. That's only how many people made personal orders AND provided their info for the sake of tracking. I know dealers must be making large quantity orders and those trucks too are getting VIN's. So let's try to not count those either although they are in sequence just as much as any truck. But how many personal orders are there in comparison to the stock orders? AND, could anyone guess how many personal orders are not being shared on the spread sheet? I imagine there have to be more than 665 personal orders since April when the sheet starts. It's a great tool to get ideas on how much Stallantis is getting done and moving down the line and at what pace. But what are the percentages. Is the sheet only showing 10% or personal orders. Or more like 50%.

Love seeing this kind of information based on facts. That being the case, I was feeling like the diesel engines were not being installed much. Was wondering if the earlier recall might be affecting it. I'm happy to say that it doesn't appear to be that way. In the month of November only, the tracking sheet shows 92 SO engines and 69 HO engines having at least an equipment listing. I didn't sort through models, trim etc, just the diesel engines. Yes I'm bored and waiting. Long way to go.

Wow! Its a crowd sourced document being updated out of the goodness of one persons heart. A VIN review can help you guess how many are between the ones listed (numerical order) but the keeper of the file could not be expected to provide this level of detail and continue helping people see trends without doing it full time. Also, the information you seek would more than likely be a protected item at the Corporate level. Thank you to the "Keeper" for sacrificing the time and effort for this data!

Change the color to delmonico red and this is the exact build that I have been trying to order for the past month. Dealer keeps saying that no night edition for Laramie yet.

For those of you ordering trucks in the Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania area, where Lordstown Ohio will be your truck’s final rail point, the sheet below will give you an idea of what you’re looking at from the KZ to KZ-X part of the process. Of course this is subject to change, but this sheet documents the entire journey my truck took from loading in Saltillo Mexico to Unloading at the dealership. I’m missing the first few entries from Mexico to Oklahoma City OK because I had not yet begun to receive the updates from the rail company.

Hopefully this will give some of you a better idea of the time frame you’re looking at and allow you to better plan for your truck’s arrival.

I’m in the Dayton Ohio (SW) area. I purchased locally but I believe the equipment list had Detroit zone? Just got the call from the dealer said truck is off the train waiting for transport in Nashville TN. He said only about 2 weeks to go! I said two weeks? I’ll drive down and get it if you let me lol. Of course he said no. Surprised it went to Nashville…

I got the same answer from Chrysler and Stallantis reps through Houston area dealers.
It has to do with the Laramie ECM not being able to talk the tech language to the NE power mirrors. Longhorn and Limited ECM's can talk the language. In the before times, when silicon chips were readily available they simply used the components needed to work the mirrors in the Laramie's as well. But now things are allotted specifically and there's no more swapping chips and ECM brains around.

How does the spreadsheet get updated? Is it just from what ppl post on this forum?
Yeah. Through any method which I hear about the information. Check out page 1 of the thread about the crowdsource sheet. I do check all entries for equipment listings and window stickers a couple of times per day.

@matemike you might be interested in the 2022 Ram HD Sequence Numbers sheet which I also occasionally update.

I noticed "Sold Vehicle" is listed on some equipment listings. I don't know for sure that means it was a factory ordered truck like many of us here have placed. But I can say it appears on 38% (26,659 of 69,514) of the equipment listings I have found so far. There are certainly a LOT more factory orders than we represent on this forum.
