2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Mark dodge people, did they pick you up in a courtesy car from Houston Airport or drive the truck to you?

" I currently have 3 incentives I’d like to use totaling $1,500".

If you dont mind sharing, what rebates are you getting? Just looking for ideas.

I couldnt use penfed because i used a cdi (EP) code. But the dealer used $500 in coupons so that is the only rebate i qualified for. Picked it up 1 week ago.
You can try calling the incentives line for fca and they might be able to give you some ideas.

TrueCar $500
First Responder $500
Small Business Owner $500

The small business one I don’t know much about but my salesman mentioned it and said I’d qualify so I didn’t question that. I’ll take every penny I can get lol

Dealer said to expect delivery to SLC by late December - fingers crossed!
Congrats. My vin# is just a bit after yours. I ordered a similar optioned truck. Been scheduled for production for 2 and a half weeks but not built yet. Estimated ship date 12/3
Maybe I'll get lucky and they will build it soon.

I live just outside of KC but I'm in the Denver Zone. I guess if I know when my truck will be coming thru I can stand next to the tracks and wave,,,,,,then wait for another few weeks for it to travel back.

This is all I got for you. 10k off MSRP which puts me at above 12%. Around 5% below invoice.

Looks almost identical to mine with the build and the numbers! But when your talking to a dealer they want to keep you in the dark and feed you like a mushroom, some will only tell you what you need to hear in order for you to buy it at max profit for them. Sooo it is still a good deal ... now weather it is a good deal for them or you is the answer

You are wrong on the EP. EP is “Up to 5% under invoice” if your dealer told you 3% is EP, then he is lying to you.

Just because you got a **** deal doesn’t mean people here are lying to you. Do your own research, call mark dodge and see what they offer you. Or pay your 1% under invoice and get robbed. Half of us couldn’t care less what you do and what you pay. This has been talked about many times before.

Well, that was pleasant. I really don’t care how you say what you want, and understand your approach, but we have guest here. I’m not one of them so tone it down please. I’m full of turkey and don’t want to be filled with crab.

Looking at my original POC before the price increases here’s what I see:

ORIGINAL MSRP = $90,740
ORIGINAL FWP = $84,377

EP (Employee Pricing) = $80,358
FFP (Friends & Family Pricing = $83,608
Hold Back = $2,657

Based on that info:

FWP is roughly 7% less than MSRP
EP is roughly 11% less than MSRP
FFP is roughly 8% less than MSRP

My dealer agreed to sell me my truck at FWP minus whatever incentives I qualify for at the time the truck is invoiced. I currently have 3 incentives I’d like to use totaling $1,500. If they honor all three then I’ll be buying a truck at 8.6% less than MSRP and 2% below FWP with incentives calculated in. The dealer is ten minutes from my house, has an excellent service center with capable diesel mechanics whom I’ve used in the past for warranty repairs on my 2017, and I’m keeping the business local. I could have saved a little more by going to one of the dealers selling further below invoice but I chose to trade the extra savings for the time savings and the convenience.

oops, I think that would be the good deal lies with the Dealer, and an ok deal for you.

I would take the advice to call Mark Dodge if I were you.

That ship has done sailed, your deal is what it is, once you have received it, better deal than you would of had if it was sitting on the lot. enjoy your truck and keep in mind what you saw on the forum.. and things will likely change

Mark Dodge is 1,300 miles from me. Although I realize and recognize they’re giving great deals, the distance, travel expenses, fuel, airfare, and time involved aren’t worth the little bit more I’d save.

you might want to look at the numbers on that too, but then again your deal is done correct.... Airfare to Lake Charles, is very affordable and Mark Dodge did you they would pick me up from the Air port

$500 for a one way plane ticket
$400 in fuel + tolls + wear and tear on the truck
$400 in hotels
+ time off work having to travel

No thanks. They are giving great deals but it’s not worth the little bit id be saving.

Plus I like to keep my business local. That local dealership donates to the school musical, the sports teams, employs friends, etc etc. I think any dealer willing to sell at or below invoice in this current economic climate is being more than fair. Plus if I have any issues, they’re ten minutes from my house and I know the owner by first name and have his personal cell number. There are some things money can’t buy.
