2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

What does your POC say the order date is? With that high of a sequence number it looks like a much more recent order than 7/22. More like 11/15.
I'm thinking they might have been banned for 90 days and are not quite being honest as they ordered a truck with the wrong options and I didnt buy it . Funny thing... I dont see a POC

From what I've read, incentives apply at the date of delivery, with the trucar expiring end of Nov and my expected deliver in Feb, no sense taking up someone elses, incentive, right?

Mounted the tires today. Hopefully I’m out of JB status and shipped next week.
I must admit those are some of the more bad ass wheels I've seen in that style. I can't wait to see them on the truck, but not near as much as you I bet, lol

Well we did think my truck getting on the same train was holding up yours leaving so maybe this time it is. How long has your truck been sitting there now, like 3 days?
Since Sunday.

I was thinking the same thing as you....but then I really thought about.....if it didn't have a VIN assigned until November 15th it would have a very high/recently assigned sequence number.....I think this makes sense....what I don't understand is why it took so long to get a VIN assigned???....it does make more sense that the truck was recently ordered.

EDIT: Now I see the POC....it took so long because its a Canadian order....our friends to the north have to wait longer than us at times...I feel for them.

On previous orders I always got the best rebates/incentives from the time the truck was ordered until delivery. For example if the Rebate was $1500 on the day the truck was ordered then the next month it went to $2000 but when the truck was delivered in the 3rd month it was only $1000.....I would get the $2000 on my truck order. You always get the best or the one that you choose or the finance incentive if that's what you choose over the rebate....sometimes you can get both. I hope this makes sense....but it has always been this way with the Ram's and Jeeps I have ordered.

Hopefully, Truecar will renew/replace the offer after Nov-30.

If you can find an affiliate who works with Truecar they may have a later expiration date. I was able to find that with my employer’s discount program company PerkSpot. I also checked AARP, AAA, and Sam’s Club but none offered the $500 thru their Truecar affiliation.

Lol, Idk to me that’s just common sense.. that seal lays flat on the tailgate and acts as the weather stripping for the back end.
I'm a close it on the seal guy. I have the low pro but i think the x15 is just different material. My bro-in-law loves perfection and is just sick watching me close it on the seal. I started doing it the "correct" way but i get in and out of the back all the time and could never get the latch to consistently catch when closing the cover. Seems the rails had too much give up near the latch mechanism no matter where or how i adjusted the bolts. I finally said screw it. Not worth the hassle to worry about the extra little water that gets in there.

Howdy Folks, I'm new here. So many posts it's hard to follow at times.

I ordered my Ram Oct. 29th. Touched base with dealer yesterday and he said it was 'in the last phase before production.' Next time I'll ask for a build code.

I have a VON but no VIN yet that I know of.

Could someone please provide methods to track other than contacting dealer? I seem to remember a phone number to call, not sure what that is, is there any other tracking method?

First new truck in 30 years, I might be a bit excited. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Google FCA community chat. You can chat with them. I ordered mine on Nov 1st. They said parts were being located. They also said it would be 7-9 weeks before delivery. I don't believe that but I hope it's true!
