2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Read page 1. Also for the posts about build priority, mine was 01 from the get go as well. Also big surprise on my widow sticker today!!!

I did read the first page and I didn’t find any information on how to track the location of the truck once it is in shipping.

Mine said priority 1 from day 1.
I'm gonna be like 4.5 months by the time it's built.
7/14 order here. Just got an email from my dealer. Estimated ship date of 11-24 so I'm assuming I'm finally out of the "D" status black hole. Even though the date doesn't mean much, happy to at least have one now!
Looks like a whole lot of us July orders have been getting build/ship dates in the coming 2-4 weeks.

What would cause on order to go from D to D1 and then back to C? Anyone?

Order date June 19, 2021 - 3500 Limited CC 4x4 HO Vin: 3C63R3SL9NG115508

Not mine, was doing some recruiting for the forum and had a couple people shoot me some info. He is on the tracker too Clevy4949
That happened to me. I ordered and was D on 6.21 then D1 on 7.22. I checked with my dealer on 9.24 and was told I had gone to C status and the date that came up was my order date of 6.21. On 9.27 I checked with everyone's favorite insider and was told I was in D status. On 9.29 he told me I was back to D1.

My truck is due into port 11/15 - Looks like it went on the train the same day the window sticker posted. Sandi said it could take up to 3 weeks to move from the port to the dealership, I really hope that is not the case.

Received a call from my dealership today that the truck will be in this evening. I was told at the time of order the price would be “invoice” on original POC which I agreed upon. They sent me the online documents to sign and accept and the “Adjusted Selling Price” was $1000 over new MSRP! After an hour of arguing back and forth with them, they honored the new invoice price ($1,038 increase). The following message I received was “You know there is a recall that has to be fixed before we release the vehicle to you, right)”. I really hope I don’t fall second victim to the @Combra6589 situation for pissing them off.

Screw the recall, the fact they are trying to bend you over on the price of the vehicle would have me upset. Even after arguing with them they are still trying to make you pay 1k more than the agreed upon price. This is the first time I have heard of this, hopefully this is not how dealers are operating in general.

Hi All,

We received notice yesterday that our truck has been built. We are thankful that we've gone from 1's and 0's in a computer to a physical vehicle. We ordered July 4th and have had about 7 ship dates. For reference, it is a Laramie 3500 CC DRW HO with pretty much every option except the sunroof. Hopefully, soon it will be pulling our 5th wheel across the country.

Again, thanks to everyone here for the great information and moral support.

Last week I was
parts all received, should enter the build very soon
Earlier this week I was
Parts are still being gathered
Today I am
Thank you, I can see all the required materials for your order have been gathered and the plant has sequenced your order for production, it should be entering the build very soon!
But RamChat didn't have a build date or anything else.

edit - sent my dealer an email to get him to provide any info he can give along with an actual build status code.

I agree! It is ridiculous. I referenced others obtaining trucks for 3-4% below invoice, their response was “pricing has increased since your order and to reflect the fine print at the bottom on the original POC”. If I wasn’t so anxious to get the truck I would have just cancelled the sale and ordered from Mark Dodge. I would have saved $3,000

Found out my truck has a delivery date. Current Dealer ETA is 11/22/2021 - 12/03/2021 . So I might be getting a Turkey truck or a HO-HO truck. :D Or in our Case a Brisket Truck no stinking high Priced bird here for Turkey day.

What!!! No smoke ring? Shame on you, lol j/k

I am very sorry if this information is already available and I missed it. How can I track my truck's shipping status? All I know is it was put on train this morning. I saw a few posts with screenshots of tracking information. I was wondering if it is public information or only people with certain access right can do it.
Depends on the RR mostly, if you have a car number, NS was real nice, the other 2 UP and BNSF not so helpful

Got a call from my dealer, truck is due to arrive in Buffalo, NY in 6 days. We are 50 miles south of Buffalo. Should have it by the end of the month! Ordered on 7/27, so 18 weeks if it does make it by the end of the month. 2022 Ram 3500 Laramie longbed dually diesel with Laramie Level 1, Safety Group B, 12" screen, 50 gallon tank, sprayed bedliner, folding mirrors.

Here are more pictures today and after getting tint on the front door windows.

Your production date is JUST before the recall cutoff date
