This is true, but just because they aren’t building them doesn’t mean the parts ordering/gathering shouldn’t start. The question is why early orders are being scheduled so late.
A valid question - but I doubt any scheduling of 2022s was done until early August and parts were probably still prioritized to complete the 2021's still in work.

But it does NOT explain why 20 of the 57 May orders; 37 of the 134 June orders; and 54 of the 157 July orders on tracking sheet dont have Equipment Lists yet

On the plus side 237 of 348 May-July orders on the tracking sheet have Equipment Lists and most of those have shown up in last 2 to 3 weeks - so maybe there is a light at the end of tunnel - hopefully a train with our trucks on it.

You have a BUILD DATE ?!? WTF? Yeah yeah, I know you are 2 mo order before me, but dangit!

Notice I said SUPPOSEDLY. 1 person tells me I have build date for week of 11/21, 2 other people say they don’t see anything of the such on my order. I’m hanging onto hope that the 1 person is right. Who knows tho. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Possibly, but production WAS scheduled to start July 26th, and my guess is they would have had needed the parts to arrive before then. When they pushed the schedule back, it was to do more 2021 that were already in the parts gathering phase.

I still believe that the early orders who HAD early august ship estimates and were pushed way back had their parts “reallocated” to inventory orders. I have no proof, just what I think.

My ETA at the dealership is today thru the 22nd. Are these dates any more accurate than the other dates or just more guesses? Also, my dealer is passing the $1500+ increase on to me. Anyone else had this happen?

According to Ramchat, the second set of dates are more accurate. My initial dates were 10/30-11/12 then yesterday I was told the new dates are 11/10 - 11/22. According to my DLR it was in Salt Lake Ciity, UT on 10/30 and the DLR picks up from their. Idk how much any of this is accurate but my new truck feeling is starting to erode away.......

Or maybe the schedule was pushed back (and the September shutdown for a week waiting for parts) due primarily to supply chain issues - and yes those issues would affect the 2021s still in work (some still in the "In Transit" stage to dealers in November) as well as 2022 builds. My truck was built and held up 2 weeks in JS limbo along with about 30 others apparently waiting for TTPMS sensors. Others have no doubt been held for other items

My point was WHY are so many of those early orders not built while other later orders (and yes dealer orders) are built and shipping?

Shouldn't you be using MEMES with Mark Wahlberg in them?

I don't think he should be doing that...unless his dealership is really, really hurting on sales/income....I think he's price gouging you on the deal. He should be using the original POC that was submitted when you ordered and that's the price you should be paying/locked in for.

My 6/19 order according to Jeff is scheduled to start build this week, Ramchat says it will start in the next several weeks. so 5 months and im still not started being built. im just hoping to see it by the end of the year. im also curious if its going to come with everything i ordered it with. I opted for the Tow Tech package, but on the 22 builld now i dont even see that option anymore.

That was my thinking also. I'm just gathering info so I know what I'm talking about when I finally get to go in to sign papers.

Not sure how "locked in" you are - I guess I will find out in a couple of weeks hopefully.

Anyone here have experience with a completed purchase where MSRP has gone up higher than original POC. I have a Window Sticker that is $900 above original POC (+$800 on base price + $100 on Destination fees). I have seen some more recent POCs with a caveat added to bottom that prices are tentative and subject to change.

Sandi told me build date was 11/12 a few weeks ago (6/18 mega limited cummins). Checked in with Ram chat yesterday and got the, “you’re in the trim stage” which was exciting. Factory is moving. Today, an email from cryptostickers saying build sheet is there! Won’t populate for me through the equipment list site yet, but it will add to my Mopar garage. Here’s to hoping shipping isn’t too bad of a wait. Between my truck finally getting built today and also waiting to hear back on a potential sizable promotion (fingers crossed), today might just be the best day in a long time! Heck, even if not, at least my truck is built!!

My window sticker is 2k higher and also missing a item $995 from original POC so almost 3k higher than original POC they are give 3% off Msrp trying to cancel and get my deposit back because of the missing item.
They say it maybe a type-o so they are waiting for truck to show to verify. will see!

It was 24 hours later when I got my build sheet. Then 2 days to get my window Sticker. But like you it would take my Vin in my Mopar Garage.

Yes I have experience with my 2020 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk that increased $650 and my dealer honored the original POC. The same with my 2019 Ram 3500 went up and he honored the same. I believe the original lock in (MSRP) is with Ram and not the dealer hence Manufactures Suggested Retail Price MSRP. Ask your dealer to get with his RAM Regional Rep and they should be able to authorize the original MSRP from when the truck was ordered. I have ALWAYS been to get the original POC price. I have purchased 8 Grand Cherokee's and this will be my 6th RAM HD (not counting a two 1500's). I do believe in this case the dealer is trying to pad his pockets....like other selling above MSRP. Now how much all of this will stand up in court....I don't know because dealers can charge what they want. I would tell him if he doesn't honor the original POC....I will pay the $1500 but you have lost ALL future business with me....Good Day SIR!!!

EDIT: Unless there is a very good reason to justify why he has to charge the $1500 increase.
