2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

New to the forum, already soaked in a bunch of info from you gents. Ordered a limited 3500 mega HO loaded on Saturday. I’ll bother my dealer for a VIN here in a couple days and add it to the doc.
Coming from a 2015 2500 mega loaded 6.4. Looking forward to the torque!

+5 months out for build sheet

Well, a little more than 24 hours since my truck left Saltillo on a truck. But it hasn't made the 3 hour drive to Laredo yet, according to the VIN Track. Maybe it stopped somewhere along the way for a margarita and didn't check in. Oh well, still waiting.

The good news is my dealer tells me that the shipping statuses have not been accurate for awhile. They tell me that vehicles just arrive one day without any indication that they've even been shipped. Hoping that's the case with mine.
What is VIN track? My truck is on a train and on its way as well. Didn't know we could track it

Hello all,
I was watching something on YouTube about the Ford f450. It’s governed to 88mph! Does anybody know if the Rams are? Specifically the 3500 SRW?
I’m sure it’s just the f450 and a ford thing but I want to make sure.

The Chassis cab are governed to somewhere around 90mph...not sure exactly. The pick up trucks are usually governed to what the tires are....my 2019 Ram 3500 HO SRW was 106 as that is what the 20" OEM tires were. Now....I can neither confirm or deny that it will actually shut down at that speed....LOL

My 2020 is limited to 102MPH. Haven't been able to clear that with any AlfaOBD changes. Only a tuner can get rid of it.

Just learned that my truck is on the train from Saltillo. ETA to the railhead is 11/12.

Shouldn't you be using MEMES with Mark Wahlberg in them?

Welcome to the site, I have been waiting a month for my vin, still stuck in BG status.

Yes but im assuming they probably weren't even building 22s when you ordered, they were probably still on 21s for a while
Not sure they were building much of anything until August - there are still some 2021s in transit to dealers - it appears they stopped taking orders for 2021s around May, but did not start making 2022s until August, leaving those early 2022 orders in never-never-land.
Finally they are starting to catch up and 60-70% of those May-July orders have been built, mostly in the last 2 weeks.

Why in BG - have you talked to dealer to find out what problem is?

Love to see more/better pictures of that Longhorn black interior once you get the plastic off it. Pics of these interiors are hard to come by, and will help folks trying to decide between Mountain Brown/Lt. Mountain Brown and Black/Cattle Tan Longhorn interiors. The build tool colors are not accurate. It especially makes the wood look way too red for the Black interior, and I can see from your picture this is not the case. Looks great.
I’m not gone yet, just got home late from taking delivery on Tuesday and then was busy at work and at home yesterday. I know this isn’t this best pic, I’ll get more in a couple hours but wanted to update you guys.

So, my dealership experience was a nightmare. Took my own financing, but there was miscommunication (no communication) that the salesman gave me invoice +$500 contingent on financing with the dealership. Also there was the issue where a sunroof was added that I didn’t ask for ($1100) which I was going to just eat. But then, the guy forged my name. So then I was pissed and determined to get it taken off. Well, between the financing situation, the fact that invoice + $500 is no longer a standard ordering price (supposedly), and after arguing with the sales manager/GM for 3 hours and finally pulling out texts that I in fact did ask specifically for no sunroof to begin with, I got $500 off and had no choice but to finance through them. Not a huge deal as their rate was .04 higher than mine after they bought it down, I had just already gone through the effort of getting it set up with my local bank and had a check in hand. The whole deal was extremely aggravating and everyone involved was mad at the salesman including the other managers. The finance guy was awesome and super apologetic and 100% straightforward with me which I really appreciated. He was the only enjoyable part of the whole experience. But either way, I brought it home. I’ll get off my soap box now!

As far as the truck goes, well…. It’s awesome. I love it. Taking some getting used to going from an ‘86 5 speed MR2 to this type of luxury. It rides like a cloud (no air ride), the 17 speaker system sounds great (make sure you enable surround sound mode), the ramboxes are so convenient. All in all, didn’t get a terrible price in reality and I’m super happy with the truck!

Anyone trade their current truck into Mark Dodge? Thinking about seeing what they would offer for my 2015 GMC Sierra. I would have to drive it 15 hours down to them, so probably not worth it.

I traded my 2021 in with them a few months ago. They were very fair on the value. I could have gotten more, but it didn’t make up for the sales tax savings.

This is true, but just because they aren’t building them doesn’t mean the parts ordering/gathering shouldn’t start. The question is why early orders are being scheduled so late.
