Based on what we know now, Production did not start until early August and it was shut down for parts a week in September. A large number of trucks now have Equipment Lists (trucks built) and Window Stickers (trucks ready to ship). And a significant number of those appeared in the last week. My dealer speculated 12-16 weeks when I ordered in September and I still have hopes of seeing it within that timeframe. But yes, I was in D1 for weeks and truck was complete pending parts for another 2 weeks, and shipping can be a black hole beyond anyone's control - but from what others have said, its pretty much the same at GM and Ford with 2021 trucks waiting for parts, but my glass is half full not half empty right now.

Also half full ... weeks ago it was MC , sunroof , floor liners and night edition holding up my order. I was told today that now its it's just Night Edition .
2022 Ordered July 2nd.
 
Dealer called today and my truck has hit the rail yard in Spokane early this morning and is waiting for truck transport to dealer lot!!! Was hoping to pick it up this week but looks like will be next week as there is still a lot of things to go on to the truck - (tint, bed liner, ceramic coating, tonneau cover, & air bags and I also ordered Bushwacker fender flares match painted w/black rivets).

Man mine is still sitting in a storage lot in Mexico! I was hoping mine would have been on that train.....

Be aware that the 2022 Ram 2500 or 3500 are no longer offered under the new affiliate program. They were in 2021 but I think they were removed for 2022, I would contact your dealer before placing your order. There are quite a few dealers in this thread that offer 4-5% under invoice, so you have options.

they told me in august when i ordered the truck that i could get the Costco pricing, because that was why i went to there dealership. I found out after that my employer was part of affiliate pricing, I was hoping i could get an additional 1% off but $700 is not a deal breaker. Costco pricing is FWP, My original POC was a little lower ($63,255) but they told me it would be a little more when 22 pricing came out.

It looks like my truck did make it out on the very next train out of Saltillo and has now been handed off to the second train (KZT status) and is due to arrive in Illinois in 5 days. Does anyone know what rail yard that might be? Perhaps Centerville, IL outside of St. Louis? Delivery to dealer estimated between 11/16 and 11/29. Thanks to our resident insider @brv10 for the update!

There is a rail yard in Centerville, IL
 
Well my scheduled build date was today and no update. Atleast there is a better possibility of avoiding holiday traffic on the 1000k + mile drive home from mark dodge once its ready if its going to take additional week(s) to be built.

I flew directly to Lake Charles (LCH) and my salesman was waiting outside to pick me up. It's a tiny airport so it took no time at all to get outside and then the dealership was about 10 minutes away. My truck was out front at the dealership ready to go. I spent more time just BSing with the crew at the dealership than we did dealing with paperwork. :cool:

What airline did you use. I will fly out of Denver and would like to go to Lake Charles direct but I’m not seeing an airline that does that.
