2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

But when the ****e hits the fan in those same countries us Americans are the first to open our wallets and hearts. We will actually send our brothers and sisters to bleed for them. I kinda wish we would stop that BS and I wonder if we did what would they think about us then?
...Oh wait...we did that!...didn't we..

They do some crazy amount of billions per quarter. I feel your pain but after so much frustration and reading and after owning more than a quarter million dollars of Chrysler vehicles in my life. They don’t care.
Just look at some of the photos of the trucks that are posted and the happy folks here and let that console
Yeah I was just thinking if enough people contacted a specific rep something might happen. I know in my line of work the guys that keep everything moving are constantly putting pressure on people to make it happen. I have never been that guy but I see how it works for them.

Took literally 2 pics of the Ram in the sun and then started working on welding a flat bed onto the truck of my coworkers son's old 12 valve.

Well tomorrow is the first hard date I was provided from Ram, the build date is supposed to be 08 Nov, they say I will get an email from the Customer Support that it has entered the build process. I will be surprised if it really happens. I will just go down into the garage and lay the MX4 out, the trailer hitch, the fuel caps, DEF cap, and POC in the location where the truck is supposed to be and drink a beer. Maybe have a Sherlock Holmes moment and solve the build priority equation.
You will get an email, just don't expect it to be on time. I think it took 5 days after it was built and already shipped to get that email. They're definitely not on top of their game...

I was ok with being patient with this process but now it’s becoming so disappointing the excitement has completely worn off. I feel like the power of this forum may get some answers if we could some contact info. We have quite a few members looking for info that adds up to a decent amount of $$
I smell mutiny, yes, everyone cancel your order so I can get mine!

the mopar or FCA website but don’t expect to see anything for at least 6 weeks. Some dealers seem helpful to these folks on this forum and some seem to not care. I wouldn’t hold too much faith in them as they may either not care or are too busy to deal with all the folks that are asking them. I decided not to bother my awesome dealer for a month and I ordered 10/15. I didn’t get a vin for a week. My dealer suggested that I shouldn’t expect my truck (Limited 3500 HO CC Lb 4x4) for 5 months. You will probably be in D status for 6 weeks after vin until D1 which means parts gathered for your build.
It seems based on the last 300 pages that your suffering will coincide with D1 which seems to continue for another 6 weeks until you start dreaming of your truck and rainbows and stuff at which time you will get a bunch of back and forth dates from the different sites and Lamechat. And let’s not forget you’ll get a build sheet that will get your hopes up. But don’t worry, Ram doesn’t care about our hopes or their accuracy. They will know you’re happy and optimistic. Once they know that, either your order will be canceled or they will keep you in lala land status for another month. After that it goes fast. Like 2 months more. At which time your dealer will probably sell your truck to someone else.
You will have your truck by new years. Of 2023.
My sage advice is have lots of patience, enjoy everyone else showing you pictures of their awesome trucks and be happy. Try not to think about you being the one showin off your truck pictures. Because by the time you see your truck this forum will be empty. See how optimistic I am? Thankfully I didn’t sell my existing truck yet.
Whew! Your gonna scare people off.

Thanks for those pictures! That is the coolest truck ever. Awesome!

Ok folks, this is a great idea! You all should cancel your orders! Please. Hey Grumpy, that was a fantastic idea! P.s. I won’t cancel. After I saw Larry’s and Unicorn’s trucks I’m not sure it’s possible for me to cancel.

It appears they are finally moving at a better pace - it seems a lot of your info may be based on experience of people who ordered early. Based on what we know now, Production did not start until early August and it was shut down for parts a week in September. A large number of trucks now have Equipment Lists (trucks built) and Window Stickers (trucks ready to ship). And a significant number of those appeared in the last week. My dealer speculated 12-16 weeks when I ordered in September and I still have hopes of seeing it within that timeframe. But yes, I was in D1 for weeks and truck was complete pending parts for another 2 weeks, and shipping can be a black hole beyond anyone's control - but from what others have said, its pretty much the same at GM and Ford with 2021 trucks waiting for parts, but my glass is half full not half empty right now.

Maybe that’s the plan. We have a brilliant strategist on this forum. His name is Lee aka Grumpy Old Fart. He suggests that everyone should cancel their orders and maybe he’ll get his sooner. I wholeheartedly agree. And if ya’ll do that it may show something to Stellantis that they should get their ****e together.

I also agree with you. I’ve been on this forum for a long time. It keeps my hopes up. Seems RamChat is where hopes go to die. But all n all, I’ve learned a bunch of great things and I get to live vicariously through all the orders that are getting built. And, prob shouldn’t say this, It’s not Stellantis’s fault that supply chains have been decimated.

she has finally arrived! 22’ Big Horn Hemi in olive green with tan interior. Order it in mid-August. I had thought that the power mirrors were included in the level 1 package but I guess I was wrong so but of a bummer there. Other than that the truck looks great.

Apparently they are no longer offering the olive green color so pretty pumped I got it when I did.
Saw that color 2500 this past summer and got the wheels spinning because of how sexy it looks.. ordered June 17 but with the black/ granite Interior. Just Got build sheet and sticker this weekend and was told it is in kmz so hopefully it is on the fast track so show up.

Anyone who is in a position they cannot wait on the order process, the local dealer here just got a pretty well loaded Laramie in. I do not know the status of availability but I did see power tow mirrors listed. I do not work for the dealership, I can put you in touch with a great Salesman.....
