2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Crap I haven't had my chimney cleaned in 4 years. I live in the desert only do a fire once a year cause it's nice.
Then you have only burned it 4 times, it should still be clean, fire it up! As you can see, that crap is Santa’s job. No more switches and ashes….

the mopar or FCA website but don’t expect to see anything for at least 6 weeks. Some dealers seem helpful to these folks on this forum and some seem to not care. I wouldn’t hold too much faith in them as they may either not care or are too busy to deal with all the folks that are asking them. I decided not to bother my awesome dealer for a month and I ordered 10/15. I didn’t get a vin for a week. My dealer suggested that I shouldn’t expect my truck (Limited 3500 HO CC Lb 4x4) for 5 months. You will probably be in D status for 6 weeks after vin until D1 which means parts gathered for your build.
It seems based on the last 300 pages that your suffering will coincide with D1 which seems to continue for another 6 weeks until you start dreaming of your truck and rainbows and stuff at which time you will get a bunch of back and forth dates from the different sites and Lamechat. And let’s not forget you’ll get a build sheet that will get your hopes up. But don’t worry, Ram doesn’t care about our hopes or their accuracy. They will know you’re happy and optimistic. Once they know that, either your order will be canceled or they will keep you in lala land status for another month. After that it goes fast. Like 2 months more. At which time your dealer will probably sell your truck to someone else.
You will have your truck by new years. Of 2023.
My sage advice is have lots of patience, enjoy everyone else showing you pictures of their awesome trucks and be happy. Try not to think about you being the one showin off your truck pictures. Because by the time you see your truck this forum will be empty. See how optimistic I am? Thankfully I didn’t sell my existing truck yet.
LOL. Dealer said 4 to 5 months when we were still working out the details, so I'm not holding my breath. Would be nice to have it by late spring to start camping season.

The first Laramie they ordered me was here in a couple months , too bad alot of the options were wrong. Thanks woodgrove chrysler. The current order I have been waiting for was ordered July 2nd, 3500 SRW LARAMIE , Loaded. They told me that the items slowing down my order are
Night edition
Mega Cab
Sunroof
Floor liners....
(Pic is of the first arrival)
Currently looking into placing and order out of the states to see the difference in pricing and if it can be done, call me Sandi Lol

Thanks for the info. I ordered a Limited Blue, Night, Mega, sunroof and a bunch of other things to hold me up, lol. I had a Red Laramie CC on order sept 2 but changed my mind and ordered the new one oct 6. Loooong wait I know but I wish we got the VIN sooner in Canada.

Hey Larry, sorry for asking but I’m a glutton for punishment. Can you post some more pictures of your truck? It is seriously bitchen. You could sell posters of it. Maybe feature it on the cover of a calendar. But please post some more photos.
Haha... thank you. I'm off work tomorrow, so I'll get pictures in daylight. I got home this evening at 7pm and got the bed toolbox mounted and got the rear bed step on.

I have the hood protector to get on and tossed a text to my tint guy so I can hopefully get tint this next week.

Soon I'll get it into the shop and do a ceramic coat on it.

Saw mine in daylight at work today (picked it up last night after dark) when I ran out just to see it in the parking lot. There is doing damage. F me running. I sent the pics to the salesman and he said bring it back Monday and they will call with it.

That does super duper bum me out.

This isn’t helping with the pre-delivery anxiety…

I will be thoroughly inspecting mine. So much so that the salesman will be checking their watch.

My dealer will go get it if they have to, we don't need no transporter!
It is assigned a carrier and they have to be there to release it to the dealer. Harder now than ever. Ram did assign a different carrier for my truck last Monday.

Just going by what they told me, they have 41 dealers in 7 states.

That’s lucky! I’m wondering if Mark Dodge will do the same thing. Aaron said they have five semis arriving between today and Monday, so I’m hoping one of them has my truck or they’ll go get it. I’m scheduled to fly out Friday evening to pick the truck up next Saturday and if I have to change my flights it’ll cost me an additional $700 in airfare…

With how much inventory MD moves, I’m guessing they have some pull on when trucks get loaded.
