2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I couldn't even look at a 2500 with their payload. This lightly options Big Horn comes in at 4,119 pounds of payload per the door sticker!
I heard the payload on the 2500 is a lie to keep it under the important 10,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. I heard it actually handles much more. Anyone care to comment on real world experience with this? I don't care about legal issues, just actual weight carrying capability.

Only difference is the rear suspension, everything else is the same. Only issue you might have is the backend feeling squirelly with a heavy load. Depending on the load, you might want/need some bags to help level the truck.

Dealer advised today that they are expecting this thing to arrive at the Spokane train depot this Sunday 7th or sooner. Then under 72 hours to get it to their lot..REALLY hoping to have this thing by mid-end of next week!! It has now been 5 months since ordered. Best of luck to all ya’ll May/June orders that are still being built.

The limited is the only one with the adaptive and the cornering whatever they call that. At least when I was at a car show a month ago the Chrysler rep said only the limited has that feature. If I’m wrong a boat load of folks will chime in. LOL.
I think the Limited may be the only one with those features standard, but they are available as part of the Safety Group - at least on the Longhorn

Since I don’t have my truck yet and traded mine back in June when I ordered this thing, I had to borrow my son-in-laws limited (that has only the self inflating airbags) to pull my 28ft travel trailer to a campground one time and that dam thing was squirrelly as hell! This is the main reason I ordered a 3500 so I could get the leaf's. I am also putting airbags on it just for extra measures.

Moving up to a 3500 because of payload on my 2500. My 5th wheel has a 2500lb pin weight, so once you add the hitch, the wife and I as well as all the tools in the storage compartments, im about 1000lb over payload. No problems with towing, and the air bags keep me pretty level, however on occasion I do get the "Air Suspension Disabled Due To Payload" message.

I have a 3500 on order as well… I currently have a 21 limited with air bags.. my toy hauler has about 1200 pounds payload and the bags around 65 psi.. leaf spring rear end makes it feel like it’s on rails. Coil spring does ride better but you do lose some pulling comforts when pushing the number.. 2500 both hands on the wheel and lower speeds. 3500 is like nothing is behind you.. sway and power is the upside..

I saw that pile of cars on the spreadsheet and my glass-half-full self was certain my truck would have one. My glass-half-empty self laughed when it wasn't there. I did find a decent SxS to replace the one my daughter totaled though lol. And, I saved 25% on my insurance... not.

I am hoping to take delivery soon (before Christmas?) on a 2022 Ram 3500 Megacab SRW with Rambox. I need recommendations and cautions regarding installing a Gooseneck Hitch with Rambox. I am looking at a BWGNRK1320 which supposedly fits 2020 3500 with Rambox but requires special template for 2021 and 2022 2500/3500 (no mention of with or without Rambox).
I also have Tow Mode camera and will no doubt need to move connection for both trailer and camera.
I realize this may not be the right place to ask this question - so you may respond directly via Conversation if thats acceptable.
Anyone with experience with Gooseneck and Rambox please respond or message me directly.
Thanks in advance

The Limited and Limited Longhorn both come with the adaptive/cornering headlamps standard. No package required.
