2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Yeah, its all good. People will do what they want. Life's to short for me to get all riled up over others on forums. I'll gladly adopt whatever name people throw out haha. If I could change my "Active Member" to "Jackass 4th grade bully" I totally would. I do appreciate where you're coming from though. Hopefully you can find the answers you are looking for on here.
I remember back when Chrysler had the VOTS (Vehicle Order Tracking System) and it was probably one of the cooler looking tracking systems. I'm not sure why they did away with it or how long ago they did. The best info you'll get unfortunately is from your dealer/salesperson. There are a few guys on here I have massive respect for and have been super helpful as well. Giving me more precise information for sure.
I remember VOTS. When I ordered my jeep in ‘13.
yes those guys are great. Just helping out of the goodness in their hearts. They’re definitely not from Kalifornia.
I’m pretty sure I’ll never get info, now I just like hearing everyone else talking about getting their builds. Kinda fun. I’ll get mine when I get mine. I still have my existing awesome 2006 Laramie Cummins 4x4 and still love it although it heard me talking about getting a new one and replacing it and it’s pissed. Now every where I go I think it’s gonna do me!

I’m going to order the tpms for my new wheels. Can someone help me verify the part numbers. I’m guessing they should be same pn as 2021. Also trying to order 2 extra trailer tpms sensors since the xg9 package only comes with 4 sensors. Limited mega cab drw. Thanks

Mine is " Laramie Group B, Safety Group B, Towing Tech Group B, 8.4 radio, BSM, air suspension, aux switches, Bed utility group, dual alternators, Cold weather Group, Night Edition, Power running boards, 50 Gallon fuel tank, and rubber floor mats. Ordered 1 week before yours and still in D.
Only things I don't have are cold weather, dual alternators, and power running boards. It must be the rubber mats holding us up!

RamBox (+$995), RamBox Utility (+$295), Chrome Tow Hooks (+$95), 20" wheels (+$1,695) ... it can really add up quick on a Longhorn.

To great dismay, a fully loaded, like-for-like Longhorn build is about $750 more than its equivalent Limited. I went back and forth a bunch between the two and ultimately landed on the Longhorn if for no other reason to avoid rock chips on a black grille and bumper. On a Limited, I would -have- to get the night edition.

But it's really six of one half dozen of the other... they made the right choice rebranding from Laramie Longhorn to Limited Longhorn.

The interior colors are totally different between the two. That's a big difference you can't change. If you want the cowboy or rural country look or all brown look, you need the Longhorn. If you want the city look or all black, the Limited.

Ram reps are useless . Dealers are independently owned . Ram already told me they can’t tell the dealer to release it
IMPORTANT: Some of the involved vehicles may be in dealer new vehicle inventory. Federal law requires you to complete this recall service on these vehicles before retail delivery. Dealers should also consider this requirement to apply to used vehicle inventory and should perform this recall on vehicles in for service. Involved vehicles can be determined by using the VIP inquiry process.

Both the Limited and Longhorn are on the same tier. Both offer the highest quality materials available, along with the adaptive LED lighting. This is why Ram changed the name from “Laramie Longhorn” to “Limited Longhorn” in 2021 to reflect it being alongside the Limited. However, the Limited has a $5k price increase over the LH on base price only due to the fact that the Limited comes equipped with more standard options. If you build a LH all the way to match a Limited in options you will notice only around a $500 difference in price.
Does that include the Rambox - if I recall correctly its a $1000 add to the Longhorn or a $500 delete on the Limited

Yea I saw that. Even though I signed p&s Friday and was picking it up Saturday. It was technically sold when the told me they couldn’t release it.

Also need TPMS P/N for trailer tires - are they same as truck?

Can they not use the ones from the stock wheels?
