2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I don't mean to hijack this but finally got my VIN # from my 5/14 order. Loaded Longhorn diesel, 3C6UR5GL5NG101534 Called Ramchat - it is in JS status - shipped to storage - I have been following these posts for a while, I seem to remember this means it's parked waiting for final parts? It now has a build sheet but now window sticker.
Mine is also in JS status. I hope both of our trucks are shipping soon. I’m guessing that my truck will arrive in North Carolina in about 3 weeks.

So JS doesn't mean storage waiting for parts? Waiting to be shipped? My day just got a ton better :) I'm in Minnesota

I just got a call from a local dealer that I have my name on an "in transit" 2500 and he told me there is a stop sale issued. What is that??

I was told I'd have to buy it by 10/16 or I'd have to wait until the issue was remedied.

Your dealer didnt want to tell you what a stop sale means?

You mean like pay for it before it arrives?

A recall of some sort but couldn't tell me for what.
I suppose bad enough to prevent you from taking it home. Thats annoying because they probably wont have parts for a while if its a mechanical issue.

Im the opposite, I hate chrome. The only thing I like about it is its better than paint against rock chips
Yeah, but the rock chip resistance is a huge advantage. I've come to realize that the younger folks like the mean blacked-out look, and the older guys like chrome. Being an older guy I like friendly chrome, and reject badass black. :)
