Just found out that my 2022 3500 WRW Megacab Diesel is in the trim portion of the build cycle. It’s about time since it’s been on order since 5/7/21.

Here's my build....these trucks are getting crazy expensive.....will be ordered soon. EDIT: Truck ordered late afternoon on 1 July.....received VIN the next morning.

Well, my shipping was updated today and the production date, not built yet but closer.

I'm confused. You told me both production and shipping dates were very inaccurate and are not reliable and not to count on it???

Do you have a VIN?

It takes Us Canadians a year and a day to get a VIN. My first 3500 I ordered Sept 4th still didn't have a VIN Oct 4th when I cancelled it and reordered a new 3500. When I told my guy at the dealership he was shocked the US folk get a VIN in as soon as 3 days.

Digging into the PenFed site, I was able to view the available incentives as they apply to both 2021 and 2022 models. I hope they update soon!!

It sounded temporary to me from my order today. I was told if it opened up then they could change my order if not in production but that would also re-invoice my order and could hurt if prices change on the manufacturing side.

I just got an email from CarGurus saying they have a new selling service. Looks like they send it out to various dealers, get the best offer, pick up the vehicle and pay.

Has anyone just sent an email with all of the local dealerships cc’d to see who responds back with the best offer to buy your truck? Thinking if they all see they’re competing they might give you the best offer without any fuss.

Can anyone look up a dealer order? I canceled my initial order due to changing my mind on trim level and lack of movement for 3 months. If my initial order arrives to the dealer before my new orders starts being built I may just end up with my initial order. Ram Chat confirmed it is a dealer order but refused to give me any info on it. VIN Is 3C6UR5PJ2NG116863. Seeing that the cummins seems to be built faster than hemi I am kicking myself for going with gas.

Same here-over 20 2022 limited showing on locator within 200 miles and mine was ordered 5/19

After raising hell yest, I rec'd an email from CARA this morning.
It says that my order has an estimated production plan timing for either the week of Oct 11 or Oct 18 but that these times are estimated and subject to change.
I sent it over to my dealer who said he looked and now im back at D status versus D1.
Maybe what I read earlier abotu D1 to D means it is bout to be built.
