I just tried Ram Chat, and this is what they said: "Unfortunately all our system shows is the current ETA window which is 10/20/2021 - 11/04/2021". I didn't have any ETA dates prior to this, so that is useful information. The scheduled ship date was 10/19/21, so it shipped well before that. Destination is Denver.

I’m waiting for a response of: “we had the parts for your truck several times but have pulled them to build more recent orders first. We would rather have 2 happy customers and one upset customer. Please check back in a month to see if we’ve received new parts to build your truck”.

I had reached out to her as she instructed me to contact her about 30 days after ordering. They’ve been pretty good to us ( Mark Dodge that is), so I’ve refrained from any other contact. It’s given me time to read this entire thread and to read much of this site.

Off to start ordering bolt on accessories now….

I completely understand! I’m just trying to keep the forum up to date.

I did contact Ram Chat twice over the last two weeks and both times they told me the parts had been gathered. They never gave me an estimated start date though, so not really sure what day my order moved to D1.
 
Checked with Ram chat this morning and they're still saying that my order is in the scheduling phase and that they're gathering parts...

Ordered 7/14, 3500 SRW Laramie CC, Bright White, Night Edition, Level B, Ramboxes, bucket seats, 12 inch screen, deployable steps

Well, don’t check today, they were telling me that for the past week. Today it went back to “ we’re looking for parts to start your build…they were here somewhere…:)
 
My dealer verified today that my estimated ship date is still October 18th which is next Monday.

With that in mind is that the production date also? Or would the production be a day or two before?

I figure there is a 99% chance the date will move, but there is always that 1% chance it won't.....
 
Starting to get frustrated. Dealer told me estimated ship date was today, 10/11, on September 20th. Haven’t been able to get an update or response from him since. Today is 10/11 with no build sheet or updated information. I don’t mind waiting but I can’t stand a lack of communication…
 
For all the newer people on here, take the shipping and assembly dates very loosely, especially Ramchat, Mark Dodge seems to be one of the few dealers that are keeping people posted with as accurate an estimate as possible including railcars.

Production date is different than ship date, and you could still wait weeks to ship.

Blow his mind and mail a letter, it will let him know how lazy he is.
 
The only date I've gotten is "projected build date" of 10/23 (yay a Saturday ) which was delayed from 10/11. I've never received a ship date.
Others seem to have ship dates, but no build dates. What gives?

That's nuts. The Limited and Night Edition seem to get higher priority from what I've seen. Those must be the higher margin options.

How in the world does this happen? Ordered mine 06/09 and still D status……
